Her thoughts always wandered when she wasn't paying attention.
A knock at the door pulled her back to reality, and she responded to the doorway, "Come in."
The door opened and the young maid stood at the entrance, respectfully saying to her, "Miss Niannian, Mr. Charles is calling for you to come downstairs."
Ji Anning didn't think much about it and nodded first, "Okay."
She didn't know what Charles wanted her for but knew she would find out once she went downstairs. She put down her coffee and hurried down.
"Move all this out."
In a room near the staircase, Mr. Charles's deputy housekeeper was directing a group of people, moving in large and small packages. Ji Anning walked by, merely out of curiosity, and glanced inside.
The deputy housekeeper nodded slightly to her, "Miss Niannian."
"Is someone moving in?" Ji Anning casually asked.
