Synopsis
He is the fearsome heir of an empire, wielding power throughout his life, indifferent and cold by nature, yet devoted to her wholeheartedly. "Summer Sutton, the only woman I will ever marry in this lifetime!" At the engagement party arranged by his family with another woman, he arrives with her and blatantly kicks the white lotus out of the picture. Everyone knows that Summer Sutton is the one Adrian Walyon holds dear to his heart; whatever she desires, there is nothing he cannot provide. At her mere longing for him, he flies thousands of kilometers overnight to be by her side. At her mention of missing the taste of home, he orders food to be prepared and immediately air-shipped to her. When she expresses her wish to reach for the stars, he reserves an aerial restaurant 108 floors high, making the starlight accessible. "What else do you want?" he asks earnestly, gazing at her. She tiptoes up, wrapping him in her arms, "Adrian Walyon, all I want is you!"

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Mysterious Man with Significant Background

The room illuminated by crystal lights, the wind blowing open the tassel curtains.

A tall figure stood silently in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, the man's handsome and noble face backlit, deep and aloof.

"Young master, the person you're looking for has been found!" Behind him, a man who looked like a bodyguard respectfully handed him a photograph.

The man's gaze quietly fell on the photograph, staring at the woman in the picture, lost in thought...

...

Northtown, the autumn atmosphere growing stronger.

Summer Sutton finished her part-time job, and it was already eight o'clock.

The city at night, the night scene blurred, lights flickering.

Summer Sutton had just walked out of the company building when, up ahead, a sudden commotion arose.

"Wow, it's a limited edition off-road vehicle, the only one in the country!"

"This is such a big spectacle!"

"I wonder who is in the car?"

Summer Sutton's gaze followed the source of the noise, glancing at the boisterous crowd.

In front of her were several cars blocked, led by a rugged heavy off-road vehicle. Just by looking at the car's design, you could tell it was expensive.

Following the off-road, several cars were neatly lined up behind, the spectacle as grand as an emperor's arrival.

Summer Sutton assumed it was some film crew shooting a scene, observing with a gossiping mindset, and couldn't help but steal a few more glances.

As she was watching intently, suddenly, a dozen men in black suits stepped out of the car blocking her path.

Once out of the car, the group stood neatly on both sides, leaving a path in the middle, from which a young man emerged from the heavy off-road vehicle.

This was an exceptionally handsome man, cold as moonlight, dazzling as starlight.

His chiseled features were deep and aristocratic, thin lips curved in a touch of arrogance, dark eyes cold and sharp, the entire face strikingly handsome yet chillingly intimidating.

The agitation around grew stronger, many in the crowd whispering.

"Such a handsome man!"

"What's happening now?"

"Judging by this setup, he must be someone significant!"

Ignoring the discussions around, the young man walked straight ahead, in the direction of Summer Sutton.

Summer Sutton froze for a moment, looked around, and, confirming no one else was beside her, was bewildered again.

The young man stopped beside her, expressionlessly scrutinizing her.

His gaze carried a faint chill, feeling like ice shards when it swept over her.

Summer Sutton was stunned once more by his look.

Did she owe him money?

"Excuse me, you're in my way!" Summer Sutton assumed he had mistaken her for someone else, tried to push past, but the young man's body remained unmoved, blocking her path.

He clearly had no intention of stepping aside.

Summer Sutton tried to change her path, but was blocked again.

After several attempts, Summer Sutton grew a bit annoyed, but dared not express her anger.

It was clear that he was not someone to mess with; she was just an ordinary university student, not capable of challenging such high-profile figures.

Knowing better, Summer Sutton decided to avoid the confrontation, thinking she better make her exit.

Just as she was about to turn and walk away in the opposite direction, the man accurately called out her name, "Summer Sutton!"

The voice devoid of any warmth, clear and cold, like snowflakes falling on a winter's day.

Summer Sutton froze as if struck by lightning, retracting the leg she had stepped forward with.

She straightened her back, her body rigidly turned around.

Raising her face to look at him, she wore a look of incredulity, "Do we know each other?"
