Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: So Arrogant

The young man just looked at her coldly and aloofly, his eyes proud, without answering her question.

Summer Sutton's expression froze slightly, suddenly wanting to curse his entire family in her heart.

If he's ignoring her, why is he blocking her way?

She took a deep breath, controlling herself to stay calm.

"Who are you?" she tried again, asking.

Adrian Walyon didn't respond to her words, but simply turned his gaze to the bodyguards behind him, signaling with his eyes.

A few bodyguards stepped forward, saying nothing, and grabbed Summer Sutton's arms, trying to take her away.

"Wait, wait!" Summer Sutton panicked a bit, struggled slightly, and tried reasoning with the group, "I don't know you guys!"

"As long as I know you!" Adrian Walyon responded succinctly.

When he speaks, his words are more infuriating to Summer Sutton than if he remained silent.

Can he take her away just because he knows her?

Whose spoiled rich kid is this, being so overbearing?

"This is a public place, so many people are watching, you can't be so reckless!" Summer Sutton reminded him.

She thought, with so many people watching, he should have some reservations.

Unexpectedly, her words were completely ignored by the other party.

The man's expression darkened, seemingly finding her a bit noisy.

He forcefully pulled her from the bodyguards, opened the car door, and rudely stuffed her inside.

His actions were very domineering.

The tall figure followed her in, making the rear seat space suddenly cramped.

Summer Sutton felt extremely suppressed, and in her urgency, she blurted out, "If you don't let me out, I'm going to scream!"

She meant that she would call for help.

Adrian Walyon squinted his eyes, carelessly tapping his phone screen with his fingertips, his gaze at her somewhat intriguing.

Summer Sutton inexplicably felt that the atmosphere inside the car suddenly changed.

Feeling uneasy under his gaze, her hand fumbled for the door handle, instinctively wanting to push the car door open to escape.

However, before she could act, the man lunged at her like a fierce cheetah, pushing her down onto the spacious back seat.

"How do you want to scream?" His voice carried a trace of magnetic hoarseness, inexplicably pleasant.

"..." Summer Sutton was dumbfounded.

What does he mean how to scream?

Did he think her "scream" meant something inappropriate?

Adrian Walyon's fingers pinched her sharp chin, his tone lazy, "Weren't you going to scream?"

Summer Sutton raised her hand, wanting to hit him, but was overbearingly restricted by his grip on her wrist.

"If you want to scream, scream out, if not, we'll continue!" His tone slightly rose at the end, his gaze cold.

Summer Sutton stared at him in shock, unable to believe what she heard.

Continue? Continue what?

With so many people outside, was he not afraid of anything?

Thinking of this, Summer Sutton shivered slightly.

She felt a bit embarrassed, suddenly pushed him away, and scrambled out from under him in a panic.

This man was clearly fearless.

Her threats, he utterly disregarded!

Turning her back, she tidied her messy clothes, instinctively wanting to wipe the place on her cheek where he'd touched.

But with his glare on her, she didn't dare.
