The tone was urgent.
Xiang Yiqing agreed without hesitation, "Okay."
After hanging up, he drove to the next intersection and immediately made a U-turn.
When Xiang Yiqing arrived at the hospital, he saw Qiu Yang pacing anxiously outside their clinic. He quickened his steps to approach her, "You should hurry back."
Upon seeing him, Qiu Yang's eyes lit up and she stepped forward, "I'll handle things at home and come back."
She stuffed a few medical records into Xiang Yiqing's hand, "Here are the cases of those two severe pneumonia patients. Please keep an eye on them."
"Okay." Xiang Yiqing nodded, then added, "No need to come back, just come tomorrow morning. I'll cover your shift tonight."
Their home was in the old town. Even without traffic, it would take an hour to go back and forth. If she had to deal with things at home, it would likely be late at night by the time she returned.
Qiu Yang shook her head with a smile, "It's fine, I'll be back soon."
