Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Birthday night

The night was buzzing with excitement as the announcer's voice cut through the chatter and music

"Ladies and gentlemen, let's give a warm round of applause for our guest of honor! Tonight, we celebrate the 19th birthday of the incomparable Vivienne!"

Cheers erupted from the crowd. "Happy birthday, Vivienne!" someone shouted, followed by a chorus of similar well-wishes.

The audience clapped and cheered for the actress, who had earned her place in the limelight with her stunning performances and dramatic presence.

Vivienne, radiant in a shimmering gold dress that accentuated her long blonde hair and smooth white skin, stepped onto the stage.

Her amber eyes sparkled as she waved to the crowd, her smile a beacon of warmth and charm. The dress hugged her figure gracefully, reflecting the stage lights in a dazzling display.

As the celebration continued, Vivienne took a moment to thank her guests. "Thank you all so much for being here. This night means the world to me."

She paused, her eyes shining with excitement. "And a special thank you to my incredible fiancé, James. I'm so happy to share this night with you all, and I can't wait for the future we'll build together."

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause. "Congratulations, Vivienne and James!" someone shouted from the audience, followed by a chorus of well-wishes and toasts.

Vivienne glanced towards the entrance of the bar, where James was making his way to the stage. "James will be joining me up here shortly," she announced, her excitement palpable.

"I'm thrilled to celebrate not just my birthday but our engagement with all of you."

The party was in full swing, with glasses clinking and laughter filling the air. But as the night wore on, James had to leave suddenly due to an urgent matter.

He promised Vivienne he'd return soon, but the revelry went on in his absence.

After a few drinks, Vivienne felt the need to find the bathroom. Her steps wobbly, she wandered away from the bar. Unaware of her surroundings, she stumbled out into a dark alley, her vision blurred from the alcohol.

Murmurs of confusion and concern began to spread among the guests as they noticed Vivienne's absence.

"Has anyone seen Vivienne?" one person asked. "I thought she was just up here," another replied.

The murmurs grew, but the party continued, with most guests too engrossed in their own conversations to notice her disappearance.

As Vivienne stumbled through the alley, she saw a figure in the shadows, his lips pressed against another girl's neck. Her heart raced with anger and betrayal.

"James?" she slurred, her voice filled with hurt. "How could you?" She took a few shaky steps closer, her eyes narrowing in confusion and rage.

Vivienne's vision was still blurry, but she was determined to confront the figure she mistakenly believed was James. Stumbling towards him, she reached out and grabbed his arm with a tight grip.

"Hey!" she shouted, her voice slurred. "What do you think you're doing?" She yanked him away from the girl, who fell to the ground with a thud, not moving.

The man, startled, looked at Vivienne with a mixture of surprise and amusement. "Whoa, calm down there," he said, raising an eyebrow.

Vivienne, swaying slightly, pointed at the fallen girl. "And you!" she said, her voice wobbling. "How could you let him be so rude? He's supposed to be with me!"

She pushed the woman's limp body with a gentle shove, causing her to roll slightly but remain still.

Vivienne chuckled, her tipsy state making her words come out more garbled.

"Well, I guess you're just falling for my 'dramatic' flair. Too much 'action' for you, huh?"

The man couldn't help but laugh softly at her antics. "You've got quite the way with words. But, I think you might have the wrong guy."

Vivienne, still gripping his arm, shoved him against the wall with surprising force. "Oh, really? And what makes you think you're not the one who's been kissing other girls tonight?" she demanded, her voice echoing through the dark alley.

The man chuckled again, clearly amused by the situation. "You're definitely something else. But I promise, I haven't been kissing anyone tonight. I was just minding my own business."

Vivienne leaned in close, her face inches from his. "Well, if you're not James, then who are you? And do you always have such a charming attitude while stealing kisses?" she asked,

The man's amusement grew as he looked at her. "I guess you could say I'm just a bystander in your dramatic scene. But I have to admit, you're making this night a lot more interesting."

Vivienne's anger and confusion made her stubborn as she clung to her belief that the man was James. She reached out and grabbed his necktie, pulling him closer with a firm grip.

"Don't think you can just get away," she slurred, her voice filled with indignation. "You're going to pay for this. I'm not done with you yet."

The man's amused expression turned into one of concern as Vivienne's grip tightened. "Hey, take it easy. I really don't know what you're talking about."

Vivienne shook her head, still not convinced. "Oh, I'm sure you do. I saw you with her. You're going to answer for this."

Ignoring his protests, she dragged him towards the parking lot. "Come on, you're coming with me. We need to have a little chat, and I have some 'punishment' ideas in mind."

The man hesitated but followed her, trying to maintain his composure. "Look, I don't know what's going on, but I really think you've got the wrong guy."

Vivienne stopped by a nearby car and pushed him against it, her eyes narrowing. "If you think you can just waltz away after this, think again. I'll make sure you face the consequences. My James."

The man chuckled despite the situation, clearly finding Vivienne's antics entertaining. "Alright, alright, I'm not James, but if you're set on this 'punishment,' I guess I'll have to play along."

Vivienne pushed the man into the car's seat and climbed in after him. She fiddled with the seat controls, making it recline backward so they could lie down more comfortably.
