Unbelievably, Athena seem to be out of her mind- Wait! What should she call herself? Athena or her real name? Nevermind! All she need to worry about now is to know what's going on. Why, why is she here? I mean, shouldn't she died already?
She looked at her hands with no trace of the bruises and scab because of hard work in her previous life. She got it because of learning to cook and doing all the hard work in or out of the house.
Stefan Romano and Angelica Romano stared at their daughter as she examined er hands as if looking for something. 'My daughter! Her drowning must have affected her mind.'
Athena still couldn't believe it, "Mom, what is the day today? What year are we now? How old am I?" She ask her parents a series of question.
"Athena, It's April 6th and the year is 20** and you are 19. Is something wrong? Why do you seem to have forgotten?" Angelica replied. "My God! Stefan, our daughter seem to have affected her memory? What should we do?" she said to her husband, Stefan.
Time seemed to stop for Athena when she heard that. She couldn't believe it. She really gone back to the past, 9 years ago where everything started. Everything has been reset, from her complicated life and hopeless destiny.
"Quick! Call the doctor to check her again!" Angelica ordered her husband.
Athena seem to wake up reverie and immediately stop her parents, "No! I'm fine Mom! Maybe I'm just traumatized of what happened because I thought I would never see you again."
They breathed a sigh of relief but their heart ache for what their daughter said. They embrace her to appease her feelings. While Athena felt like crying because of the hug that she haven't feel for a long time and thought she never will. And she felt all her sufferings all throughout her life were mitigated by the embrace. They may not be blood-related but they made her feel loved like a real family. Love that even her real family won't provide her in her first life.
In this life she will surely cherish it.
"Oh! My daughter! Good thing your fiance was there and he was able to save you! Next time don't attend such gatherings! I also told your young sister to not include you again in that kind of gatherings."
Perceiving what her mother said, she remember that she had a younger sister that hates her to the core. And based on what the doctor said earlier, she really want to kill her in drowning. Right! The apparently Princess of the social circle, Cecilia Romano, has a bad scheme for her.

Simply, in her first life. This caused her massive destruction for her here in Europe resulting to severe her ties with her adoptive parents.
But she didn't heed any attention to it because she thought that they weren't her real family and it's not her obligation. Also, her real family already found her although she felt guilty for what happened. Because of that, Athena was mad to her parents not because they hide the fact that she is an adopted but to Athena it seems that they never wanted to bring her back to her real family.
"I'm fine, Mom. But, Mom, I just had a thought, I am not drunk because I'm not used to drinking and I know how to swim, and because I'm stuck in the middle of jarring crowd that it brought me to the deepest part of the sea and when I tried to swam up, I felt like someone holding me back."
Stefan and Angelica wrinkled their forehead in confusion, as if they just had realized that her drowning was deliberate. Because she was a good swimmer and another one she does not drink alcohol because she was not used to it.
"We will investigate it. They better get ready whoever harm you." Stefan's face went dark.
"Just rest here, Athena. We find justice for you."
