( Yuuki's POV )
Seeing the luxurious carriage that the princess had prepared and her being the only one near the open door, I knew that this visit to the city was not going to be as discreet as I had expected.
Yuuki: Princess, the guide you said you were going to prepare, don't tell me that's you?
Liliana SB : yes that's me, I'd ask all the maids in the castle and memorize all the places that might have what you're looking for.
I appreciated all the effort she had put into my request but this might clash with my plans, proving that I was a stronger fighter than the hero will attract some attention from the church but an attention that works for me, after all that is what they expected from me, but if I got too close to the royal family the church might become wary of me, but maybe I could also use this to my advantage.
Liliana SB: I-is there a problem Yuuki? Do you dislike the idea of me accompanying you?
I was getting lost in my thoughts and that caused the princess some concern but I was quick to shake off her worries.
Yuuki: It would be my honor if you would accompany me, princess, I just need to go get something first, please wait here.
I went to my room quickly and I took my bag with me, then I returned to the princess and showed her a gray hoodie that I had there.
Yuuki: Use this, so you won't be recognized and also forget the carriage it's too flashy.
Maid: I'm sorry, but the princess can't be walking without a carriage and without protection. Something could happen to her.
Yuuki: I think it will be fine, if I can't protect the princess, no other kind of security could make a difference.
The maid who was driving the carriage voiced her concerns, but I reaffirmed the princess's complete safety with me by her side and she said nothing else, the princess also trusted me and she put on the hoodie over her elegant dress, with that we were going to start our trip through the city, but we were stopped by a scream and the sound of small feet running toward the castle entrance.
Maribelle: Onii-chan, wait for me.
It was the second princess Maribelle who was running to catch up with us.
Liliana SB: Mari, what are you doing here?
Maribelle: I want to go with you two!
Liliana SB: Mari, this is Yuuki's important business, you can't be distracting him.
Maribelle: That's not fair, why can you accompany Onii-chan?
Maribelle was pouting when her sister wouldn't let her join us, but I approached her and calmed her down with a few pats on her head.
Yuuki: I'm sorry Mari, I promise to spend time with you later, for now you can distract yourself with this.
I took one of the handheld consoles out of my bag and gave it to the little princess, she was very interested in the technology of my world so that was perfect to keep her busy, and with that the princess and I left the castle.

The places the princess took me to had exactly what I was looking for and with that I compared what innovation was happening with the magic stones, the recent increase in the demons' military power will cause development in certain areas to increase dramatically and others to stop, but that was to be expected, I immediately drew in my mind what I would need to help the kingdom and the princess ended up curious about the books I was collecting.
Liliana SB: Yuuki what exactly do you plan to do with these books?
Yuuki: You hear about the technology that exists in our world, I'm sure I can recreate much of it using magic stones and the right materials.
Liliana SB: Do you think that is possible?
Yuuki: Building things is a passion of mine, and with the theory of using magic stones memorized, I'm sure I can do it, I am thinking of building things that will help with crops production and the transportation of goods.
Hajime's teacher had the farmer class, which instead of being a common class was a rare class and its skills had everything to do with quickly harvesting crops, almost as effective as Kusano's skills.
Yuuki: Aiko can't be everywhere at once and she won't be here forever, so what I have in store will help this kingdom long after we're gone, and not just things for the war effort, I also want to build things that will help ordinary people.
Liliana SB: It's impressive that you thought of something like this from the beginning, I'll make sure that the royal family's Synergists help you in any way they can.
Yuuki: You're very accommodating, princess.
Liliana SB: P-please call me Lily, you're calling my sister Mari, and you said you didn't want formalities.
Yuuki: Indeed, thank you for all your help, Lily.
Lily: You're doing all this for our kingdom, this is the least I could do.
We continued our journey through the city a little further and when I returned to the castle I began to prepare the plans for the inventions that I was going to show to the people that Lily was going to prepare.
The next day there was more training and after my show the other day no one outside of my group wanted to train with me but when the training was about to end, Kouki approached me and asked for another spar, I looked at him directly, somewhat surprised by his request, but that wasn't a problem, I shrugged my shoulders and accepted his challenge but the result was not very different although he was slowly improving.
