( Yuuki's POV )
Today I presented my ideas and plans to the Synergists of the royal family, they were impressed with my ideas, the magic circles and engravings used in this world were too linear and simplistic, which made certain effects too difficult to create, and it wasn't difficult to make improvements to those concepts, after all it was true that Erica's ancestors came from this world, the magical artifacts and books that the Order of the Cross had matched what I had found in my research in the royal library.
Within a couple of days the first of my creations were built and tested, by the end of our first week, Irrigation and pest control drones and automated farming machines were being transported by magic-powered trucks to the kingdom's main farms.
Around that time Leen informed me that she had found something in her readings that might interest me, she was absolutely correct, In this world there were relics from the era of God and his apostles, these were seven great labyrinths that were said to contain treasures from the lost era.
To the north of this kingdom near a town called Holward was the dungeon called the Orcus great dungeon and being so close to me I could not resist the temptation that's why I was now walking towards the entrance to the dungeon, I had a black hood that covered most of my face but I didn't look very out of place, I looked as one of the other Rangers or scouts who were entering the dungeon.
Upon entering a building that was the entrance to the dungeon, I came across a familiar scene, the place was like a bank/office, very similar to the guild in the city of Orario where I met Haruhime, there were windows where adventurers exchanged magic stones for money and receptionists who gave information and guidance to the adventurers, I approached a counter and the receptionist greeted me with a smile.
Dungeon Receptionist: Good afternoon. You will be entering the dungeon alone.
Yuuki: Yes.
Dungeon Receptionist: I understand, could you show me your status plate?
I discreetly handed my plate to the receptionist and when she saw my stats her eyes widened in surprise but she maintained her professional expression.
Dungeon Receptionist: Okay, you shouldn't have any problems on the first floors, here's a list of the magic stones we're buying for an extra fee.
Yuuki: Thank you.
With that I walked into the dungeon while catching a few glances from adventurers and mercenaries, no one else was entering alone, others at least they will be in pairs, I was about to set foot inside the dungeon when someone put his hand on my shoulder, I turned around and saw a large, broad-shouldered man carrying a large sword on his back, he had the build of a berserker, he looked intimidating but I didn't feel any hostility from him so I just stood there waiting for him to speak.
Berserker guy: Hey, you're a scout, right? We were looking for someone like you to help us guide a group of rookies through the lower floors, you're not thinking of going too deep on your own, are you?
I didn't expect that kind of request and before I could answer a female knight who I assumed was his companion approached where we were letting out an annoyed sigh.
Female Knight: *sigh* You don't know if he's on another mission, you shouldn't go bothering other people.
Yuuki: It's no problem, he's right, I wasn't planning on going too deep, I don't mind giving you a hand.
Female Knight: Thank you, I'm sorry to bother you but we appreciate the help.
Accepting the sudden offer we entered a group of seven, the rookies who had to be guided were a group of four, my role as a scout was to run in front of the group looking for enemies, then return and report back to the group, the rookies would take care of the beasts while the three of us would watch over them in case of emergency.
This continued until we reached the eighth floor and the tour was over, they wanted to give me a part of the reward for the help but I declined, then I moved to an alley where I teleported back to my room in the castle, there I analyzed my experience in the dungeon and found my expedition somewhat out of place.
The beasts I found were not impressive at all, maybe that was something to be expected since I stayed in the first levels but that dungeon is supposed to be a relic from the ancient era when God walked the world and the level of magic was much higher than today.
Something didn't add up here but I was going back to the dungeon tonight so I could clear up my doubts, when night came the dungeon was not open to the public but I created a portal to the first floor and this time the entire occult club accompanied me and Hajime was also included.
Sora: It's been a while since the whole club went on an expedition, what do you say Hajime do you want to team up with me?
Sora may be a bit of and idiot sometimes but what he said expressed the feeling we all had, even though Hajime had transferred schools he will always be a member of our club, his training has given the best results with respect to his stats but numbers do not decide a battle.
Yuuki: before we start exploding I have something for you all.
During my time at the Palace Synergists workshop I created weapons for everyone using materials from this world, and for Hajime I had created a magic gun similar to the prototypes I used, I put that in Hajime's hands and he looked at me surprised.
Yuuki: knowledge, experience and battle awareness is what matters, I know you can do this.
