The shaking only got stronger by the second but it wasn't because of a horde of BETAs approaching us, something underneath us was causing the shaking, I activated my Takeover magic and took my cat form, the others were also prepared and when the tremor reached its strongest point something shot out of the ground.
The thing that came out of the ground could be recognized as a destroyer-type BETA, but it seems to have suffered more serious mutations than the previous BETA, It had lost its short legs and its body was basically that of a giant worm, but its head or front part was covered by multiple shells.
The wizards who accompanied us were terrified by the size of the BETA and at this point they had lost the will to fight, Liliana and Felli using her IS took the wizards and brought them to the safety of the train while the rest of us stayed behind to fight.
Julie ran straight at the BETA and she jumped and spun in the air with her swords in hand, she was like a mini sharp tornado that cut the giant BETA worm in two, but the part that was separated continued moving, it didn't seem like it had any will but its rolling was causing a lot of damage, Laura flew over that severed half and used a bombardment to blast the severed part into small pieces.
Felli used her explosive petals to cover the main half of the BETA and seconds later the creature was completely covered by a huge explosion, but when the dust settled we saw that the BETA was mostly intact, the creature had grown a crystal shell to cover his soft body but it quickly fell off his body.
Leo and I ran towards the BETA using [Accel] and the BETA letting out a defiant scream created a large number of magic circles that shot giant icicles at us.

Saying just one word Eu caused the icicles to stop in midair, we used those as a platform and reached the BETA's head, I created a sphere of light magic in my hand and Glintstone magic gathered at the tip of Leo's sword, we shot at the same time and this time the BETA did not put up a defense and his body fell to the ground, ending the fight.
I moved away from the remains of the BETA and took out a prism-shaped metallic object. I threw it in the air and when the object opened up, it absorbed the remains of the BETA and then disappeared.
That metal prism was Regina's invention to collect samples that were, in her own words, 'interesting' and teleport them directly to her laboratory for research.

After eliminating the BETA causing problems and clearing the ice obstructing the train tracks, we returned to the city, They said there was no reward for us, but they did give us something as a thank you, a free trip to Magnolia City and when we were on the train we started arguing about our mission.

Lisanna: I think forming a guild is the easiest answer, information will be coming to us in the form of quests but we would have to build reputation before the juicy information starts coming to us.
Liliana: Is it complicated to create a guild?
Lisanna: No, not really. You just need a name, a symbol, a building, and to fill out an official form.
