Kaz ran for days and nights traveling at a breakneck speed. He could not dare let up for even a moment the smell of blood was strong in his nose and he could only imagine what it could mean. The carrying device he made for Peter allows for the young mage to get some small naps in during the long stretches of flat land. But after a few days of travel Peter voiced his lethargy.
"I need to rest for more than a few hours at at time. Could we please stop here and rest just for a good 6-8 hours then we can return."
Kaz stopped abruptly jarring the exhausted Peter around in the cage before kneeling. He let Peter out as he began to set up a small bed roll no tent or anything else just a bedroll and curled inside it.
"I'm sorry, I am so used to not sleeping that I thought maybe a little sleep would help."
