Our journey to the Cave began, and we started swimming off somewhere into the distance. I don't know the exact location. Because, I barely know where we're going in the first place but,I just tag along anyway. I look to Kai who is swimming a bit distant from me and I wonder; if Sirens forget their memories often, then how do they remember this cav-!
Searena's eyes glowed pink, giving off this weird flashlight thing that sat ahead of her. It beamed bright and seemed like it was showing us a path. This made me even more curious but my question was soon answered by a medium-toned sound.
The sound vibrated the water and made ripples around it, it seemed to be traveling somewhere and I believed it did. Because soon after, it came back to Searena and it caused her Flashlight thing to glow more.
I looked back at Kai again and I asked, "What's Searena doing? And what is that Flashlight thing in her eyes?" He chuckled at my questions probably because he felt I was ignorant and childish. Maybe I was, but I couldn't help it, I was curious.
I tilted my head in question and he stop chuckling and looked to me with a sly grin, "Great question actually Lililly, and actually another reason why we need to get you to the Cave.
Because you see, the cave, it will explain all of this to you. But I guess I can spoil some of the surprise, hehe. She's using Echolocation, that's probably the voice you're hearing and the Flashlight eye thing you're talking about. The flashlight is just a cool little glow thing that comes with our Echolocation thing!
We discovered that all of us can do this ability, like some Toothed-whales, or a-Dolphins you know? I believe you have it too actually, since we all have it. But, I don't know for certain we would have to test it somehow. We never really turned anyone Siren in a while in fact. Even with that, after they were turned they usually fled from us and went elsewhere so."
Kai shrugged and Koi nodded along with Kai's comment, "Yeah that's true they really do flee from us, but we don't put up a fight or anything we just let them be anyway. We like to be more peace-!"
Ryan interrupted Koi to say, "You'll learn more about the Echolocation thing later Lillily! I think you'll enjoy using it! It's really helpful! Especially around dark areas of the Sea, where you can't see I-! Sorry Koi I interrupted you again. You can continue."
Ryan said looking at Koi with what seemed to be Puppy Dog eyes.
Koi's face looked a bit annoyed with Ryan but he shrugged, "Ey it's okay dude, you really said what I wanted to say anyway." Ryan's eyes lit up, "Really?! Oh man I'm sorry Koi! I'm glad we're cool though!" Ryan smiled and Koi rolled his eyes with a smirk.
Seeing the group interact with each other like that always makes me smile and feel nostalgic, so much to where my heart starts to warm.I wonder if that's a Siren side-effect, hmm well the Cave should tell me.
Somehow, even though I don't really know where we're going I still feel like the more. Searena's eyes glow the more closer we are to this Famous Cave.
