Chapter 6 - 1.4

The boy tilted his head "Do you not wish to?"

Ryse snapped back from the frozen stupor "No its okay, I have not thanked you for your help at that time yet"

The boy smiled faintly the tips of his ears hidden in his hair flushed slightly. "Then...let's go to Moonlight pavilion?"

The moonlight pavilion, It is the most famous restaurant of this city. Ryse nodded his head and followed behind the boy.

-------------------------

Si yang could not describe that moment when he was buying the delicate artifact piece and suddenly saw That little boy from the corner of his eyes. He had felt his heart beat and the humming from the depths of his soul very clearly.

He paid in a hurry and ran after the boy holding the box tightly leaving his confused senior martial brother behind. He felt so lucky and so happy that he agreed to follow his martial brother here. At first he did not want to go but the strange feeling that he will find something there had made him agree.

"Is it not open yet?"

He heard the boy whisper as he stared at the large gates of the immortal altar. Si yang couldn't help it and so opened his mouth and answered even though the other had not asked him the question.

"No it will open two days later" Suddenly he felt embarrassed when the young boy turned around staring at him in shock. For a moment he did not know what to say the little boy was still staring at him and so Si yang panicked internally.

He thought and thought and finally decided that they can start their friendship by eating at the restaurant he will introduce himself first and then slowly get to know the boy.

"Would you join me for a snack?" He bowed his head looking at the boy pursing his lips in tension. What if the boy does not agree QAQ what should he do then!.

The boy did not answer and Si yang by now was drowning in nervousness he could feel his hand shake a little. Si yang was dejected.

"Do you not wish to?" He tilted his head lightly tightening his hold on the box.

The boy blinked his eyes "No it's okay I have not thanked you for your help at that time yet"

Si yang was suddenly flooded with happiness the boy agreed! he agreed QAQ. He felt his ears heat up he was suddenly feeling shy he could not hold back the faint smile.

"Then...let's go to moonlight pavilion?" Si yang asked. Unfortunately he only knows about one restaurant even that his junior brother had talked about half an hour ago.

The boy nodded his head, Si yang happily turned around suddenly his mind was splashed with cold water. He does not know where the moonlight pavilion is QAQ.

His steps did not pause and the boy continued to follow. Si yang was suffering internally what to do?QAQ.

Thankfully his luck was good from afar he saw the lit up board on it was written [MOONLIGHT PAVILION] in bold bronze letters. Si yang heaved a sigh of relief internally.

He led the boy inside and took a table for two on the second floor by the window. He placed the menu on the table and looked at the boy waiting for him to order first.

-----------------------------------

Ryse sat on the table looking around the place it was very neat and had a very nice setup although not as good as the modern times. It had a charm of it's own.

The boy in front of him placed the menu at the table and glanced at him as if waiting for him to order first. Ryse was not polite either he picked up the menu and pointed two dishes out to the waiter who stood beside the table.

The boy nodded to the waiter ordering the same dishes as himself.

"My name is Si yang...May i know your name?" The boy Si yang blinked his eyes looking at him.

"Hello my name is Jing ci,...Thank you for saving my life at that time" Ryse replied politely.

Si yang nodded his head "it's nothing,... I just happened to pass by"

There was silence for a moment both of them did not know what to say they observed each other quietly. The waiter came back with their dishes and placed them on the table.

"Would you like refreshments sir?" The waiter asked holding a notepad.

"Do you have fresh juice" Ryse asked the waiter.

"Yes we have orange juice and apple cider as well as grape juice what would you like?" The waiter smiled politely.

"Orange juice please" Ryse returned his smile.

"Okay please wait for a moment" The waiter walked away downstairs.

"Do you like orange juice?" Ryse heard Si yang and hummed lightly.

"I see Then i will buy you more next time" Ryse did not take it seriously replying with a faint 'okay'

It was silent again,The waiter returned with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and left after Ryse thanked him.The two focused on eating, Ryse glanced at Si yang opposite him. Si yang held the chop sticks in his slender fingers eating slowly, His eyes drooped looking at the food plate in front of him. The eyelashes cast a shadow on his pale face creating a somewhat mysterious atmosphere.

Ryse tightened his hold on his own chopsticks and looked down to concentrate and so missed the light smile on the other's face and the momentary glance cast his way.

Both of them finished in fifteen minutes and Si yang paid the bill. Ryse held his arms around himself thinking about the old man. He must be worried.

"Thank you" He said as Si yang stepped up next to him " My master must be worried so i shall take my leave now"

"Will we...Meet again?" Si yang lowered his eyes feeling a little sad.

"If destiny permits" Ryse answered and quickly ran off in the direction of the auction house.

"If destiny permits..." Si yang muttered to himself staring at the back that disappeared within moments in the middle of the crowd. He tightened his hold on the box "Even if destiny does not permit i will still see you again definitely" He narrowed his eyes dangerously.
