Axel was starting to feel the pressure of dealing with both Aegislash and Ceruledge together. Even though each of them had to deal with two of Axel's Pokemon, he had to give them proper commands. They were king-rank Pokemon, and for a normal battle, they could handle themselves, but for such a tricky battle like this, they would need Axel's help.

Nidoking was able to come near Steelix, but the second Ceruledge was able to create another copy yet again as the copy started to move towards Nidoking to block the attack, while the second Ceruledge disappeared and appeared behind Steelix. This blade had now changed in color from dark blue to dark red as it slashed towards Steelix.

BANG!!!

Despite Steelix having a very good physical defense, it was weak to Fire-type moves.

ROOAOR

Steelix gave a painful roar as it slammed itself to the ground. It didn't bleed cause it was made out of steel, but its body had multiple rashes and wounds. It looked too severely injured.

At the same time, the second Ceruledge, who was hit by a 'Heavy slam' and was injured with many blunt force wounds, started to heal at a rapid pace.

"What kind of sorcery is this?", asked Axel.

Axel knew that Ceruledge had used 'Shadow sneak' to run behind Steelix's back to attack. For a moment, he had forgotten that it was a ghost-type Pokemon.

Yet, this fire sword move had not only hurt Steelix but also recovered its health. Axel had never heard of such a move.

'Is this move particular to this Pokemon? Or has it created this move?", asked Axel to himself.

Yet, he had no time to think about it. The danger level of Ceruledge had increased by a significant margin in Axel's mind.

"Steelix, come back. Take a good rest.", said Axel and called Steelix back to the master ball.

Axel had also chosen Steelix for this battle cause he wanted to humble Steelix a bit. Steelix was a wild Pokemon before, and it had never thought of reaching king-rank in its life, but Axel had helped it to reach tier-2 king-rank level. It also had five girlfriends. It was already content with life. It had nothing left to achieve, and due to its big body, it felt that it was one of the most powerful Pokemon in Axel's team.

Axel wanted to shatter that confidence so that it would start to work hard on its training. He may have lost this battle against Ceruledge, but he had fulfilled one of his goals.

"Magnus, take Steelix's position. You will deal with this Pokemon.", said Axel.

Alakazam was already busy with other things, and Axel didn't want to use tier-2 king-rank Pokemon like Venusaur and Absol. Although they were powerful and competitive, it was hard for them to stand against a tier-3 king-rank Pokemon.

The presence of Slowemperor already put some sort of pressure on Ceruledge. By this time, the original Ceruledge had already dealt with Nidoking's substitute, which surprised Axel a lot.

Nidoking was a pseudo-champion rank Pokemon, and its substitute was not just for taking hits. Its substitute could also attack. Of course, they didn't have the same stats as Nidoking, and since they were not original, their reaction speed and thinking capability were not so high. It was still a substitute for a pseudo-champion rank Pokemon, and Ceruledge had already won against it.

Magnus and Nidoking now had to fight with the fiery Ceruledge and the original Ceruledge. This new substitute for Ceruledge was very special for Axel. It was like 'Bug Knight' of Beedrill but far better. It had its mind and could make rational decisions, which was impossible for a regular substitute.

Nidoking and Slowemperor started to fight against the 2 Ceruledge. None of them used their domain move, but after fighting for some time, Nidoking was able to poison both with 'Toxic spikes' and 'Poison ball'.

"Meg, immediately use 'Poison spread' and then start to use 'Poison damage transfer'. Also use 'Life suck' on it.", shouted Axel.

It was safe to say that Nidoking was able to use those moves successfully. 'Poison spread and 'Poison damage transfer was an area effect move but 'Life suck' was a single target move.

'Life suck' would also drain the health of Pokemon with time. 'Poison damage transfer' worked on the same principle.

The tables had finally turned. Nidoking had also used 'Sand Construct' to make armor for itself and Slowemperor.

Even though Slowemperor could use water-type attacks, which were very beneficial in this fight, it was also an ice-type Pokemon and was weak to fire-type moves. So, a good defense was necessary.

The battle was going nowhere. Despite so many damaging moves, Ceruledge was recovering health by dealing damage to Nidoking and Slowemperor. The stamina of Ceruledge seemed endless. Nidoking had to use a powerful move to deal with at least one Ceruledge.

So, it gave a long sigh and used the move 'Substitute' again. It was not recommended to use this move multiple times. Using this move makes the user weaker. Nidoking was smart enough to deactivate the previous substitute before it was destroyed, recalling some health and stamina, but it was still not 100%.

It was not that they were losing the battle. The battle was on a standstill, and since both of them were a pseudo-champion rank Pokemon, their stamina would be higher than Ceruledge, but Nidoking wanted to end it fast. It didn't know why it tried to do so, but its instincts were screaming of future danger.

SWOOSHH

By gritting its teeth, it used the substitute. The substitute ran towards Ceruledge and used a massive 'Earthquake', while Slowemperor used the move 'Rain dance'. Due to Charizard's 'Sunny day', it was helping Ceruledge too, but since it was at night, the power of 'Sunny day' was not so high in Charizard's standard.

'Sunny day' was one of the few moves that it used regularly in a fight. The move had leveled up significantly, and it was extremely powerful. Even during the night, it was as bright as day. This had heightened the power of Ceruledge's fire-type moves.

So, after using the move 'Rainy day', the effect of 'Sunny day' was countered. Slowemperor sent out a powerful 'Water pulse', but the second Ceruledge was able to dodge it perfectly while the original one was dealing with the substitute Nidoking.

Suddenly,

BOOOOOMMM

The second Ceruledge was enveloped in a massive explosion. The explosion was mighty, and the original one had to run away to avoid the impact.

When the dust and debris from the explosion settled, Axel and Nidoking could see that there was no second Ceruledge. It had been vaporized by the power of 'Spinning Poison'.

Nidoking hardly used this move because it consumed a significant amount of stamina, but it was its signature move. It had done its job.

Axel looked at the original Ceruledge, and he saw clearly that all of its wounds had healed. It looked more lively and robust than before.

What had happened?

For the first time since the battle began, Ceruledge spoke.

"Let's get serious."

And then it started to move towards Aegislash.

###

While Axel and his Pokemon were dealing with Aegislash and Ceruledge, Alon and Kirshna were dealing with Brambleghast. Alon used Krokodile, who was now a tier-3 king rank Pokemon, while Krishna used Bastoise, who was a tier-1 pseudo-champion rank Pokemon.

Before going to the battle, both of them thought that the battle was going to be easy and they were sure to win as their Pokemon were more powerful than Brambleghast. Also, they were using two Pokemon to deal with 1 tier-3 king rank Pokemon.

Very soon, they realized how wrong they really were.

Even though Blastoise was a pseudo-champion rank Pokemon, it was a water-type Pokemon, and they were shocked to find out that Brambleghast had a grass-type core instead of a ghost-type core.

Most of its moves were grass-type moves, and they were heavily advantageous in dealing with Blastoise.

Brambleghast started with the Grassy terrain. Both of them noticed that the area effect of this move was high. It then began to use the move 'Bullet Seed'. Blastoise took the hit from those moves like Krokodile was smart enough to dodge the move. Both of them then realized that the move was a combination of 'Bullet Seed' and 'Sappy Seed'.

'Sappy seed' was the enhanced version of 'Leech seed'. Both of them sucked the life of target slowly.

Krokodile was able to get some hits on Brambleghast, but it was able to compensate for it not sucking the life out of Blastoise. After some time, finally, Blastoise was able to get out of the 'Sappy seed' trap with the help of Krokodile.

Yet, it was when the battle started.

All those 'Bullet seed' that missed them or hit them exploded one after the other. Brambleghast had used the move 'Bullet Seed' many times, and there must be at least 30-40 seeds on the ground.

A continuous explosion was heard, and it was very deadly. When the dust settled, Alon thanked the speed of Krokodile for manipulating the ground and creating a stone shield to block the attack.

Alon and Krishna were happy to defend against such an unexpected attack, but what happened next was something beyond their capability.

All the weeds, trucks, and branches that covered the body of Brambleghast started to extend, and it sort of connected with 'Grassy terrain'. Suddenly, those branches that covered Brambleghast extended wildly. It covered a large area instantly and surrounded Blastoise and Krokodile.

Those thick vines and branches of Brambleghast bound both of them. The area covered by these branches was almost 100 meters. That was huge for a tier-3 king-rank Pokemon.

ROOOR

ROOOARR

Both Krokodile and Blastoise gave painful roars when those vines and branches bound them.

"What happened?", asked Alon.

"These branches are sucking our strength slowly. It is very painful."

"Damn!! How many seed moves does it have?"

Alon and Krishna were in quite a pickle right now. Both of their Pokemon were trapped in those vines, and it was sucking their life. They needed a quick strategy to address the issue.

But the situation became worse when all those leaves and pointy branches started to revolve around like a tornado as they moved towards Krokodile and Blastoise.

It looked like 'Petal Blizzard', but Brambleghast was not supposed to learn this move.

BANG!!

The leaves and branches were sharp, and they hurt Krokodile and Blastoise a lot. Both of them were weak to grass-type moves. Krokodile could not handle it and fainted from a serious injury.

Alon had called it out in the Poke Ball.

Blastoise was only holding due to its higher rank and defense.

It was not that Alon and Krishna were stupid to use Pokemon that were weak to grass-type moves. They just never thought that this Pokemon had a grass core because primarily Brambleghast was known as a ghost-type Pokemon. They just used their best Pokemon in this fight, and they were losing.

Axel didn't have time to look at their battle. He was entirely focused on the two battles of his own Pokemon, but when he heard the help from Alon and Krishna, he looked around.

Brambleghast had clearly won the battle and was now dominating. This came out of the blue for Axel because Alon and Krishna were two of his best commanders in battle.

"What happened?", asked Axel.

Alon recounted the story in short, and Axel was motivated to capture this Brambleghast as soon as possible.

It could suck the life force out of others with its vines and branches. Wasn't that precisely what he needed for Venusaur?

Axel wanted Venusaur to be the second Hashirama Senju. It was now able to create a mini forest and use it to hurt others. But till now, it had not been able to use the trees and their branches to suck the life out of others. This was one of the key qualities of the First Hokage.

"Mia, send out your Infernape and Venuasur will also help you in this battle.", said Axel with a wide grin.
