The roars of the beasts were resounding nearby.
The journey to the army camp took longer than expected. The grounds were riddled with trampled small beasts and carnivorous suckers, some of those still struggling to latch on to them dripping gooey liquid.
All three of them, Nette, Vay and Cie had their soles burned by those corrosive liquids, burned pieces painfully sticking to the feet. Several times they had to stop and hide behind the rocks, to stay away from the rampaging beasts whenever they got close to the barrier.
"Careful" Nette suddenly dragged away Cie, a second before a pipe-looking vine exploded, spewing seeds into the air, sending them scattering.
"Don't let those seeds touch the skin, they take root and start to grow through the internal organs" He warned, making sure Vey was far away from the spewing range as well.
"Ew" Cie took another step back after listening to the description "thank you. how much long will it take to reach the other camp?"
