Unlike the palace set on Lake Heart Island, the Imperial Palace of the Imperial City is directly situated at the heart of the metropolis.
Even though luxurious buildings where nobles reside surround it, there is still an incredibly vast square around the palace. Like a pyramid, it stands alone atop it, giving one the impression of a towering mountain.
As for the exterior, the Imperial Palace of the Imperial City is different from the Royal Palace of the Royal Capital.
The Royal Palace of the Royal Capital is a traditional Chalk Castle, filled with a medieval Western European vibe, clearly making one feel as though they have entered a fantastical adventure in the Otherworld.
In contrast, the Imperial Palace of the Imperial City is somewhat similar to the palaces Shane knew, resplendent in gold and grandeur. Its exterior walls have a rich, solid feel, reflecting its historic weight.
