Lucia is a magical land, producing many things, including talented musicians like Tchaikovsky, literary giants whose names echo worldwide such as Tolstoy, Gorky, and Pushkin, and famous painters like Repin.
Not to mention that this country, often jokingly called a nation of fighters, gave birth to the renowned ballet genre, Lucia Ballet.
One cannot help but marvel at how such a seemingly rugged and even somewhat barbaric country nurtures such a brilliant culture.
But just as Lucia produces awe-inspiring culture, it also produces something else fitting the fighter nation label, namely the Lucians who are often called "Maozi."
The word "Maozi" was initially a derogatory term, a kind of pejorative.
However, as times changed, the derogatory sense of the term seemed to have faded, adding a unique descriptive flavor.
