A thin black needle came screaming out of the haze, aimed at Grey's throat. He sensed it, but he couldn't dodge it in time. He quickly urged his blood essence and his dragon-like scales slowly statrted to form across his body. In the time it would take for it to fully form, he knew the attack would've landed.
It felt like time stood still as he stared at the attack about to strike his defenseless throat.
While he desperately tried to get his body to move, a wind bunny crashed straight into the needle with its small head. It yelped in pain as small blood stains appeared on his fur. Nonetheless, it survived.
Grey met its eyes, and the bunny gave a short, determined nod before darting back into the fight.
The gaunt Gnome cursed under his breath. "Those rabbits. Kill the rabbits first."
