Fenrir stood in the middle of an open field surrounded by stumps and uprooted trees with his eyes closed. The ground was cracked for miles below his feet His power was increasing faster than Nendrerth and Eaos had predicted, giving Nieo and the others less time to find the seal. Nendrerth still in the air above him as she tries to think of away to stop him without hurting him too severe. She watches for a moment then swoops down to punch him again but is stopped by Fenrir's hand. His long fingers began to surrounded her fist, causing her to fly backward. He opens his eyes, the red glow shines for moment looking like fire then progressively turns to a deep. Once his eyes fully changed, they sky turned from the crimson it was to the purple. Nendrerth looks briefly then begins to hear the earth grumble below her.
"Dammit Fenrir…"
She spoke as she turns back to him and sees him floating before her, face to face before he launches her toward the direction of the others.
Obsidia, Nieo, and Zero all finally arrive at the castle in time for Eaos to land behind them.
"We need to hurry and find the seals."
Eaos spoke and walks over to them. Zero and Obsidia stop and look as the tall man stands over them.
"Father?? What are you doing here??"
"There's no time. Fenrir is being consumed by Chaos."
The trio's hearts all drop as they hear this. Nieo felt like she needed to save him but shook it off.
"You're right father…"
Zero looks up as she and his sister jump off and rush to the door. Now that her father was with them, there was a second person to sense the seals.
"He could've placed it near the chamber he first held me in…"
As the four of them now enter the castle, they hear a massive explosion and a pressure that felt greater than the god that was in their presence.
"Father… Is that…"
Eaos continues to walk in front of them as he looks down.
"One of the two foes he fought, triggered something deep in him. Nendrerth and I didn't predict this."
After he spoke, there was a loud howl that shook the entire castle.
"We must hurry. Nendrerth is trying to keep him distracted but it seems her power to hold back is slowly declining."
Zero and Obsidia looked at each other for a moment.
"It sounds like something Alister would've done but it went wrong."
The group reaches a corridor that leads downstairs into the dark. Eaos reaches up and emits an orb of light, sending it down the never ending stairs.
"Father… You told Fenrir you couldn't leave because the Universe would not allow it. Why are you here?"
He sighs softly and leads them down.
"Nendrerth arrived and told me everything that's happened after I sent him to find her and that was when we sensed Valoel and Chaos. I assumed Chaos was going to try and take Valoel but when you children and Rahmiel appeared before him, Chaos sensed him."
The group was silent while they went down the stairs. The ground began shaking even this far down now that Chaos was manifesting within Fenrir.
"We do not have much time… Zero, take my daughter and go down where the light has stopped. Nieo can control the orb."
He nods in time for her to get on his back. The rush down the stairs as fast as they could.
"Obsidia…. I know you do not know me personally, but I have a favor I must ask of you."
He stopped and looked at her.
Meanwhile:
Nendrerth stood up from the rubble, dusting off her dress without a scratch.
"Fenrir… I don't want to use my full strength. That is a fight I'm waiting for."
She leaps out at him and throws several punches. At first it happens so fast that it appeared as if nothing happened, but once time caught up Fenrir felt each punch. He coughs up blood but shakes it off and roars. The sound of his roar blasts Nendrerth back above the castle. During their fight, Nendrerth noticed that loose rocks, trees, and debris from the castle were beginning to lift off the ground.
"Dammit Eaos… Find the seals faster…"
Fenrir leapt from the ground once more but is stopped with a wall of black and white flames.
Nendrerth sees this and floats her way back to the ground.
"You should be with your brother and Nieo. Why are you here Obsidia?"
Obsidia walks over to Nendrerth and stands by her side.
"It sounded as if your ass was getting kicked, so her father sent me to help you."
Nendrerth watches Fenrir as he began to pace.
"That man has a sense of humor."
Obsidia sees the transformer Fenrir.
"So what he spoke of was true…. Fenrir we'll save you…"
Nendrerth places her hand on Obsidia's shoulder and steps forward.
"If this fight continues for too long… I will have to end his life… You understand what I am saying?"
Obsidia watches as Fenrir how's and truces to claw his way through the fire. His hands covered in ice, reforming when it melts.
"If it ends his pain…. Then yes I do."
Nendrerth sighs softly then launches herself toward Fenrir again, but once more is blown back from the force of his howl. Obsidia watches as the ground shatters and trees get pulled from their roots. The a tower of Valoel's castle crumbles behind them. She knew she had to focus on helping Nendrerth, but Obsidia was worried about the others.
Zero ran as fast as he could, trying to make sure he doesn't lose Nieo, but realized she had a tight grip. They finally reach the end of the stairs and enter a room large enough to be another throne room. Each side bore four doors bur across from them was a door large enough for a giant.
"That must be it… I can sense it."
Nieo spoke as if the aura was like hers, soft and slowly leaking out but Zero was trembling. This overwhelming force was warning him to turn back.
"We need to do hurry for Fenrir."
He told himself out loud and began to walk into the aura of Chaos.
Nieo gets off and walks beside him toward the door. The closer the two got, the more she began to feel the pressure Zero had felt. Once they were at the door, she began to reach forward and push the door open. In the middle of the room sat a table with what looked like a small crate. She could see it now, the dark purple aura she had seen once before was now leaking from the crate.
Nieo rushes to the crate and closes her eyes trying to hold the seals until her father arrived but the moment her aura touched the seals, the first one broke. The crate bounced as the last seal was trying to hold Chaos within.
"Nieo, Zero! Step back it's too late…"
She hears her father and looks back at the crate in time for Zero to rush over to her and carry her to her father, who now stood at the door.
The last seal shatters and the crate settles down. Eaos had his hand out ready to blast his full power at it, but stood there for a moment. The God begins to walk toward the crate he once helped seal in time for it to burst open, jumping back as the full force of Chao's revival would be strong enough to injure anyone else.
Nieo held tightly on Zero's fur as the two were helpless to watch the thunderous cloud break free and fly upward.
"It's going for Fenrir!"
Eaos rushes over to Zero and Nieo, holding them slightly so he could bring them back to the surface in with a blinding light.
Once the light was gone, Eaos was now standing. Beside Nendrerth who stood ahead of Obsidia. Zero and Nieo were behind the three of them.
"Please tell me you have some good news, Eaos…"
He didn't say a word as the cloud emerged from the ground behind Fenrir.
"The seal's durability was all ready about to break. Nieo, attempted to hold the last one but too was on the brink."
