The infuriated Jasper Vance stomped over and growled, "Tessa, are you fucking looking for trouble?"
Tessa Caldwell retorted, "Even if you die, I won't die."
Jasper gritted his teeth, "I'm telling you, your Caldwell Group is finished."
Tessa shrugged, "Finished is finished, as long as my dad doesn't starve."
She would rather not have Caldwell Group. That way, her stepmother, who looked down on the poor and fawned over the rich, would definitely not stay with her dad. Then she could bring her dad and Mia home and take care of them.
As for how others lived, what was it to her?
She looked at Faye across from her, "Hubby, would you be willing to help me take care of my dad?"
Faye, enjoying Tessa's admiring starry eyes, pinched her chin and gazed at her with deep eyes, "Do we even have to ask? Of course."
Jasper, watching this infuriatingly inseparable couple, couldn't help rolling his eyes in exasperation.
"You... Tessa, don't think I'll ever marry you."
