Faye looked at her innocently, "Weren't you the one who said I shouldn't talk to you?"
Tessa Caldwell nearly choked!
How could this be the same thing? Right now, they've taken all her wallet, documents, and phone!
She looked at him with some resentment, "Did you do it on purpose, trying to get back at me? You're too much!!"
The logic of women left Faye speechless.
"It has nothing to do with me." He declared his innocence, then turned around and walked away.
A black car stopped by the roadside, just a short distance from Faye, and Tessa knew it was here to pick him up.
Now she's lost her money, her documents, and her phone. If she didn't want to be stranded on the streets, she could only turn to Faye. Of course, she had to follow him: "Wait up."
Faye didn't slow his pace at all, so Tessa quickened her steps to block his path: "You have to take responsibility!"
