For the next ten hours, he didn't initiate any conversation with Tessa Caldwell.
Tessa sat upright, leaning against the cabin, keeping an eye on Faye. She had been showing signs of a cold, and after the meal, she felt very sleepy and tired, soon drifting into a deep sleep.
In a dazed sleep, she sensed someone checking on her, even felt a hand touch her forehead. The familiar warmth of the palm told her who it was. But she was too tired to push his hand away, so she had no choice but to let him do as he wished.
After waking up, she pretended to know nothing.
When the plane landed, Tessa didn't bother with Faye. She fetched her luggage and walked out. Her head felt a bit dizzy. She touched her forehead, there was no fever—probably from sitting on the plane for too long.
Faye followed behind her all the way to the outside of the airport, seemingly planning to keep following her.
She couldn't help but look back, glaring at him, "Don't follow me."
