Tessa Caldwell tightly pursed her lips and looked at him.
Faye didn't insist on her replying. Like performing magic, he produced a delicate gift box and slipped it into her hand, motioning for her to open it, "Returning it to its rightful owner."
Tessa took it without understanding.
Upon opening it, her expression became slightly stiff.
It was the green turquoise bracelet that she and Faye had completed together, but it seemed to have disappeared afterward. She couldn't remember how it disappeared.
Faye took it out of the box and then put it on her wrist.
After restringing the bracelet, he had kept it, intending to give it to her upon their reunion. But back then, he was afraid it would remind her of everything, so he hadn't given it to her.
Later, knowing she remembered everything, he wanted to hold the bracelet and ask her, "Can you give me another chance?"
