Tessa Caldwell changed her clothes, hurried downstairs, and she wanted to clear things up with Faye, to tell him not to have anyone follow her anymore.
She was halfway down the stairs when Xavier Warren's voice sounded: "Tessa, good morning."
"You came?"
Just as Xavier finished speaking, Nolan Ford walked out from the other side: "Good morning, Madam."
Tessa greeted them as she went downstairs.
She saw Faye standing by the dining table, with a purple clay pot on the table and a bowl beside it. When he saw Tessa, he picked up the bowl and smiled, saying, "Heading to work? Come have some porridge."
Tessa walked over, sat down, and then asked him, "How did you know I needed to dress up?"
"Your favorite fish porridge." Faye didn't answer, he just served her a bowl of porridge.
Initially, Tessa didn't want to put on a stern face or speak too harshly, especially since there wasn't just him in the restaurant.
In front of Xavier and Nolan, she still wanted to give him some face.
