"I'll go take a look," Marvey wiped his mouth, rinsed it with the remaining wine in his cup, then tilted his head back to pour down the last drop, and walked out of the stable with a smile.

Siegfried also stood up and went to the stable's entrance.

There, a well-dressed young man stood at some distance from the door, holding his coat's hem in both hands, tiptoeing to peer inside the stable.

Marvey approached him, and the two started talking.

Siegfried watched them intently.

After exchanging a few words, Marvey turned around, laughing as he called out to Siegfried, "Haha, got some work! This young master here has invited us to perform!"

"No, no, no," the young man waved his arms, hurriedly correcting, "I only want to invite you, Mr. Marvey, not your mercenaries."

Siegfried approached the two, responding coolly, "The two of us are inseparable."
