The successive footsteps were advancing out of the hall; it was obvious the spectators did not want to remain inside the Courtroom any longer.
The final verdict had been passed. When Sokom arrived at the Second Elder's side, the Academy Leader stood on his other side. Everything appeared to be over, but someone had words to say.
"Second Elder!"
When the voice came from someone everyone was familiar with, from Mel, the crowd turned back and began to watch what would happen. Like the others, the administrative echelon of the Green Shadow Academy also stopped moving; they were waiting for what Mel, whose head was slightly bowed, had to say.
"I need to tell you something, but I do not know how to say it!"
The robust young man's shoulders were slumped inward, and his hands were clasped together. His demeanor caused the Second Elder's eyes to gleam; perhaps, unable to bear the pressure of the environment, he was going to confess.
"Speak!"
