When Mary Scott asked David Locke about his exes, it was pure curiosity at first, but she couldn't help but let her imagination run wild once she asked.
Especially when David hesitated, it made her heart bubble with jealousy.
Seeing Mary turn her head away, refusing to look at him, David could easily guess her thoughts, finding it amusing, "You're the one who wanted to ask, so why are you acting like this now that I'm ready to answer?"
"What act? I wanted to know just moments ago, but now I don't. It's late, let's sleep." Mary pushed David aside and walked towards the bathroom.
Yet she hadn't taken a few steps before David's long arm pulled her back, her body bumping into his chest. Annoyed, she said, "What are you doing? I said I didn't want to know anymore!"
"Jealous?" David wasn't angry with Mary's annoyance; instead, he cheerfully asked.
