David Locke met Mary Scott's worried gaze, and his heart suddenly softened, "I'm fine."
As he spoke, he wrapped an arm around Mary Scott's slender waist, a faint smile in his eyes, and taking advantage of her unguarded moment, pecked her forehead through the mask.
Mary Scott paused, looking at the man whose eyes held a smile with a hidden tease, finally realizing what she was doing. She stepped back a bit annoyed and said coldly, "Whether you're fine or not is none of my business. And weren't you leaving? Since you left, what are you doing back here? Regretting transferring the property to me? Fine, I'll go hmm..."
David Locke watched Mary Scott's little mouth gabbing incessantly and finally couldn't help but tear off his mask, taking advantage of her chattering to kiss her.
