Jeffrey Foster stayed in the hospital for three days before asking Isabelle Martin to handle his discharge procedures.

Being a doctor, he knew better than anyone that whether it was a mild concussion or a fracture, what was needed was rest; staying in the hospital was just a waste of public resources.

However, upon returning to Rose Valley, Jeffrey Foster found that his upcoming life was more difficult than anticipated.

Unable to see and with limited mobility, his life truly became painstakingly difficult.

On the first night after Aunt Pritt left, Jeffrey Foster attempted to take a bath but ended up hitting the bathtub hard, painfully sweating profusely, and as he struggled to get up in a sorry state, his arm, which had initially reduced in swelling, was now red and swollen again.

Sitting in boundless darkness, Jeffrey Foster felt as if he had returned to the dim, cramped rented room he lived in before he was eight, helplessly bewildered, not knowing what the future held.
