Ray looks around the cave and notices that there is water in the cave. He walks over to the water and takes a drink.
"This must be connected to the lake." Said Ray.
The water looked 3ft deep with a radius of about 10ft. On the walls near the pond, there is shiny green moss growing. Ray uses analysis on the moss.
Moss lichen: able to heal wounds. Used in alchemy.
"I'll be able to make potions out of this moss." Said Ray.
Ray wades through the water and touches the moss. Assimilate 100lbs of moss. Ray concentrates on the moss, and the moss starts to assimilate. After a short time, 100lbs of moss is assimilated off the cave walls.
Ray heads towards the other side of the cave and notices piles of bones lying about. Ray rummages through the bones, finding nothing of value.
"All these bones but nothing more." Said Ray.
Ray decides to assimilate 100lbs of bones. After a few moments, the bones are assimilated.
Ray searches around the cave and notices that there is iron ore and copper ore in it. "Hmm. This cave is about a 50-ft radius. I assimilated the bear 600 lbs, the moss 100 lbs, and the bones 100 lbs. That's 800 lbs; I can assimilate 1400 lbs, " said Ray.
Ray thinks for a moment.
"I'll assimilate stone and ore at the back of this cave." Said Ray.
Ray walks towards the back of the cave, where he can see iron ore and copper ore. He touches the wall and visualizes 1400 lbs of the cave wall, shapes it like a cube, and imagines a large refrigerator. He begins the assimilation process: 10%, 20%,...,100%. Completed. He acquired 1200 lbs of stone, 125 lbs of copper, and 75 lbs of iron.
"That's great. There is a lot of material for buildings and weapons. Yawn. Man, I'm tired. I'll rest for a bit." Said Ray.
Ray transforms into his black bear form and lies down to sleep. He falls asleep almost instantly. After a few hours of sleeping, Ray is awakened by the sounds of bats returning to the cave. Ray stretches his bear body and gets up. He looks at the returning bats and sighs, "Thanks for the wake-up call." he chuckles as he says that.
"Man, what should I do next?" Asked Ray.
Ray squats his bear butt down and thinks about his next move. After pondering for a few minutes, Ray decides that building his fortress should be his priority.
"Athena, show me the fortress blueprint." Said Ray.
"Affirmative." Said Athena.
The fortress blueprint appears in Ray's mind.
"It's not very big, but it takes a lot of material. Athena, show me the basic house blueprint, " Ray said.
"Affirmative." Said Athena.
The basic house blueprint appears in Ray's mind.
"Can I make the houses smaller?" Asked Ray.
"Yes, you can, Ray." Said Athena.
"Alright! I'm going to build a small house first. I need to assimilate more wood, " said Ray. Ray transformed back to his Changeling form and headed out to assimilate more wood.
Ray walks around his base and assimilates 1000lbs of wood.
"Alright, now I just need a good location." Said Ray.
Ray looks around and decides to build his first house by the cave entrance.
System notification: Feat of strength. Gain 5000 XP for each first building you create.
"Sweet, so for my first house, I get 5000 XP?" Asked Ray.
"Affirmative." Said Athena.
Ray walks towards the cave.
Off to the left of the cave entrance, Ray bends down and places his hand on the ground. Ray visualizes the house blueprint and adjusts the house size to 800 sq ft. "Create!" Ray says out loud. A blue light circles around Ray's hand and moves away from him, growing out until it covers 800 sq feet in front of Ray. Then, a liquid blob appears and starts to take the shape of a house. After 8 minutes of forming, the blue light disappears, and the house is completed.

"Ha, I feel stronger. I need to get back to the cave and explore it more. But first, let's check this house out." Said Ray.
It is a one-story house, 800 square feet, with a stone floor, wooden walls, a roof shaped like a mushroom, and a chimney. Inside, there are two very simple rooms. The first room is a living area with a simple kitchen that has a stone hearth for cooking, a single counter approximately 5 feet long and 3 feet tall, some simple cabinets, and no running water. The second room is a bedroom. It has an open closet but no bed yet.
"No bed or furniture. Sigh. Oh well, I'll have to create some when I can." Said Ray.
Ray opens the front door and heads back towards the cave. Once inside, Ray heads back to the assimilated area of the cave.
"Hmm, I've got 1000 lbs left of assimilation. I'll continue assimilation from here, " Ray said.
Ray walks up and touches the cave wall, visualizing the fridge shape again. Assimilate! After a few moments, a big chunk of the wall disappears.
"Congratulations, Ray. You obtained 900 lbs of stone, 75 lbs of copper, and 25 lbs of iron, " said Athena.
Ray inspects the new wall and notices a gap in the left corner.
"I can't fit through here. Maybe in my lizard form." Thought Ray.
Ray transforms into his purple poison Lizard form. He can crawl through the gap. Once he gets through, he is astonished by what he sees: a cavern the size of a football field.
"Wow, this place is huge." Said Ray. Wow, this place is enormous. The sound echoed back.
Ray stopped and ducked. He could hear multiple chattering noises. He hid in the shadows, and the chattering was getting closer.
"Damn, I attracted something." Thought to himself.
He notices three reptile creatures walking towards him.
Ray stays quiet and waits for them to pass him by. As they pass by Ray, one of the creatures notices the gap in the wall. The creature that notices the gap says something to the others, and he heads into the gap. One follows him in. The third one stays back and keeps guard. Ray waits patiently. The third creature pokes its head into the gap. Ray uses analysis on the beast.
