The place Noah was going into was a F rank portal. This portal leads to a grassland covered in treants. Noah's team had 10 people instead of the usual 7 because of some of the lesser experienced people in the group.
After exiting the portal, the group surveyed for any trees nearby. Quickly discovering a treant, the group slowly makes their way over, watching for any surprises. The team leader tank at the front soon charged into the tree monster before the mages and Noah fired their ability. As various elements, beside water, were being fired the Scout quickly dashed behind it. She quickly slashed at the treant's back before kicking off to dodge its retaliation. While the monster was distracted, the warriors quickly moved in to cut off its limbs.
SCKRRREEEEEEEEE!!!
The treant screamed in pain before it fell, turning into green world energy. Noah then looked into his body to check what his mana is at.
'I could probably attack one or two more with this group before I need a break. I should still conserve energy and also put the next level points into WIS.'
"Everyone did great during this fight, the leader said, but we could improve our speed if we bring in another one. Cole and I will each deal with one separately, with 2 warriors on one and a warrior and the scout on the other. The ranged users will support both teams and protect the healer if he has to go heal anyone." After that the group rested as the healer healed people up.

After hours of hunting, the group dealt with all beasts in the zone leaving the king beast. They actually found it hours ago but kept going on with clearing out the rest for exp and to prevent possible situations from appearing while fighting the king beast. Many things happened during this hunt.
First, Noah leveled up once.
Second, he learned to better control the fire allowing him to use it to reinforce his body or weapons. He learned this by having to dodge a treant that got too close to the mages.
Noah debated whether to put his point in INT or WIS. This was because he doesn't know if his damage with his flames is going to even be enough when fighting the treant king beast.
'I'll just add it later when I know if I can damage it.'
As the group approach the area with the king beast, the leader came up with a plan.
"We will first have me, and Cole approach the beast before having the warriors attack. We will have the mages on that hill over there with the healer. Now the scout will provide support by causing distraction or delivering damage when the beast is not aware of you."
Noah quickly went to the hill as the tanks charged into the treant king beast.
It looked like a regular treant, but it was taller and the details in its bark made it look like an elderly man. After the warriors started attacking, the mages started attacking. After the first barrage, Noah fired a fire blast hitting the treant. The damage was slightly less than the regular treants, but it still did damage. Noah quickly added his point into WIS before joining the two mages in their organized barrage.
The battle went just as planned, with Cole and the tank distracting the elder treant for the scout and the warrior to caused damage. When the elder treant lost most of its vitality that's when a foreboding feeling filled Noah, Cole, and the scout.
Noah focused on his surrounding, watching for any surprise when a large root appeared from the ground. reinforcing his legs in fire, Noah uses the ability on his sword to try to dodge the root. Noahs only has one point in agility, but him staying aware of his surroundings, the speed boost from the sword, and the fire boost allowed him to only be slightly grazed. Everyone was able to dodge it except for one of the mages, the wind mage, who was sent flying. As the healer went to heal him, the group surveyed the area to find that the roots were connected to the elder treant.
Reorganizing, the tanks came together to make a small blockade to prevent the roots from reaching the mages again. The beast then used its root again like a whip at the hunter close to it, injuring a warrior. As the fight continues, more hunters are taking more damage draining the healer.
Cole ran up to the king beast with his shield out. Right when the root whip appeared to attack, Cole trapped the whip under his shield to prevent the roots from escaping.
"NOW!!" Cole shouted
Not missing this chance, Noah, who was forced to get closer to be protected by the tanks, along with the scout attacked, with Noah using his fire reinforced sword to cut a huge part of the whip off. With the whip destroyed the monster finally breathed it last breath and disappeared into strands of green energy.
"Beast weapons are so useful."

Everyone did a quick cheer with Cole and the scout approaching Noah.
"You did pretty well during this expedition," Cole said with a grin.
"I really didn't do much though. I could barely hurt the monsters," Noah says honestly.
"Yes, even though you were pretty weak you still knew when and where to attack for your attacks to do the most amount of damage. You also were able to take care of yourself during this trip." Cole looked at Noah meaningfully as the scout opened her mouth.
"Beside me and Cole, you were the only one who could feel like something bad was about to happen."
She then proceeded to go through the portal. As Noah and Cole was talking Noah found out that he and the scout, who name is Sarah, are rookies being trained in working with random people and relying on oneself when they can't rely on others.
Cole and Noah then exchanged their phone number before Cole got in a black expensive looking limousine.
"You really want him to be on the team huh," Sarah says with an indifferent attitude as the driver started the car.
"Yeah, I would, his talent as a hunter is great and if he had a better stat rank or an extremely strong ability then I would have definitely asked him to join." Cole then gave a sigh. The two of them are part of a team that is made up of talented hunters. So far it is just Cole and Sarah. They would get new members either through the guild or by finding one while going through portals. All hunters have to start at F rank portals to gain exp before they can fight higher ones. This was why Cole and Sarah was participating in this raid.
"We can't bother with him when we have more important things to deal with. Like the portal tournament that we plan on participating in next year. So instead of focusing on weak people we should rush to find new talented hunters."
The car ride after that was quiet.
