Walking the night as Mondo is looking for anything he can sink his teeth in, rubbing his stomach to quail the hunger, he says to himself, there has to be something open or on the ground I can eat.
Hiding in the shadows as he looms around the town because Kensco's goons are patrolling all around the area.
Being ultra cautious to not get spotted while his body is weak from the lack of sustenance, gazing at the ground to look for some scraps. Shifting his head over slightly to the left as he spots a half eaten loaf of bread.
Mouth watering at the sight of the half plump loaf as Mondo silently mutters to himself, I must eat that bread.
Not easy as he makes it sound before he can even move in to grab it, there are two guards walking around the premises.
Waiting for the right time as both go the same direction away from the grain, seeing his shot, Mondo moves with no hesitation. Right as he is near to scooping up the bread, a third guard that he didn't see swoops in and nails the boy in the face.
Already weak from a lack of food filling his system, Mondo goes down with disappointment on his face, laying on the ground as he can still see the bread before his consciousness starts to slip, Mondo states internally, I was so close...I guess my life does end this way.
Right as his vision goes dark, Mondo sees two quickly moving figures take out the guards of the area, done with easily whooping ass as one of the strangers comes over to Mondo, buzzed like fresh cut grass as his hair is short, blue like water, a man's voice calls to Mondo and says with a smile, kids you still with us? Wake up.
