From a distance, Anvis steadily moved forward, eyeing the white Light Gate that seemed like a small dot.
As he advanced, the surrounding scenery continued to shift.
Behind the Floating City clusters, the 'floating ribbon' formed by endless runes began to spread, forming gigantic rune rings, which then started dispersing, spreading across the entire sky, seemingly preparing for some extraordinarily grand secret magic ceremony.
However, although the Floating City clusters had completely detached from Unival, the endless dark entities below were not willing to let their prey escape just yet.
