Chapter 1589 - Blunt

The distorted space didn't hinder Lord Blind Sword's perception at all. He obviously couldn't sense as far as the tall mountain in the distance, but the warriors who had remained behind with him were well within his range.

Of course, that was natural. Lord Blind Sword had the best perception among the Royal Guards, with senses that more than compensated for his lack of eyes.

Another natural occurrence was the fact that Old Envoy seemed to be in absolute control of his battlefield. His seniority among the Royal Guards wasn't a case. No matter his opponent's abilities, his mastery over space granted him an advantage few could overcome.

Kodwa, the serious, unkempt old man, was also holding his own in quite the spectacular battle. His opponent relied on True Chaos that had taken the shape of all-melting, living tongues of flames, but he looked to be light itself, too fast and piercing to lag behind that scorching power.
