Scarlet's mother slumped back on her seat after hearing what her daughter had to say. "Huohuo, I… I don't know if it's worth this."
"It is, Mother. Please, trust me on this," Scarlet said. "I can't tell you why I'm doing this, but it is most certainly something I've thought a hundred times over by now before making this decision. If I restart my cultivation—just from the Immortal Realms, mind you—I will become much stronger than I ever could be."
"Can you at least tell me why?" her mother asked.
