Pearl continued walking for a couple of hours before the sky turned a shade of purple and the sun began to sink toward the horizon. In that time, he met five other beasts, of which four were in human form.
The first two he met were much weaker than Pearl, at a lower Immortal Origin realm, and decided to stay away from him. With Pearl not pressing the issue, those beasts got to leave easily.
The third one was much stronger, who decided not to fight with Pearl and ignored him as well.
The fourth one he met was the one in its beast form, and from the looks of it, wounded. The beast was clearly trying to find a place to hide away and recuperate, so Pearl didn't start fighting. There would be no point.
It was an hour after that one when he met his next opponent, a woman with gray hair tied in a neat braid. Her cultivation base was slightly higher than Pearl's, making him assume she was going to ignore him as well.
