The new beast had a beauty to her that would make any human fawn over her in a heartbeat. Even compared to most human beauties, she far exceeded them. To a beast, however, her beauty mattered not in her human form. It went doubly for Pearl, who had seen actual beauties in human form.
Scarlet was more beautiful than this woman could ever hope to be.

Pearl couldn't help but show a look of surprise. It wasn't every day that a beast used an artifact during their battle. It was difficult to come by one that even owned something battle-oriented. Most beasts prided their bloodlines over artifacts far too much to make use of them.
