Alex saw the blue-haired woman disappear into the tree and then suddenly teleport away. The strangeness of the teleportation was evidence enough that the woman had been an Azure Dragon. Only those dragons could teleport so stealthily that even he nearly failed to sense the minor spatial fluctuations happening around him.
The Azure Dragons' innate teleportation talents were quite amusing to Alex, making him want to learn more about them. He wanted to study them further, but that would be largely impossible.
Seeing the Azure Dragon also reminded him of the Azure Dragon's blood he carried and the need to analyze it. He had put it off for so long, but now was the time. His merging of the three Intents wasn't going anywhere, so moving between it and the blood would be helpful during these lulls. Maybe taking a break from one thing might even help him learn something about the other.
