He had been waiting for the time when his time will finally end. But his heart dropped when he found out that even five hundred years nothing had changed. But somewhere he felt relief that he was alive to see his future descendants.
He always questioned what if the long life he had lived was a lie all along. But when he was told that it was a lie. His mind closed it off on its own pushed it in the deppest corners of his mind.

Inside the palace the entire palace was desolate as if no one had stepped here for years but it was well maintained and there was no bits of snow inside. All the furniture and pillars had been made from clear ice. Some structures which were not clear were made that ways because of aesthetics and art direction.
It felt like the entire palace would collapse with just a touch like glass. But when Jay touched it. He felt the heat seeping from his hands into the ice and his hand was frozen and stuck onto the walls.

There was a chendelier made entirely of ice. Supported by icicles structures. To ensure it won't collapse.
The entire icical structure felt very lonely. Jay began searching as he shouted to see if anyone showed up but Noone did. He searched the palace it's icical dining halls.
Where there were statues of few royals sculpted with very fine details. They were sculpted as if they were enjoying warm soup. There was a fireplace where there was wood made of ice and even when the burning wood was made with ice.
With different colors of flames with foggy ice and clear ice.
Jay thought that he would find something if he heads for the throne room.
Even the door was made of ice but there was hinges were sting enough for the door to open.
And lo there was the queen of ice. Sitting on her icy throne.
