After defeating Radhan and taking his Great Runes, Edward would also take his soul. According to the original timeline, Radhan's soul would return to the Erdtree once his body dies, which Miquella would summon. She would then put the soul inside Mohg's body and revive Radhan as his consort after he ascended to Godhood. But Edward would take the soul — not only to stop Miquella — but to retrieve one particular memory from him.
Radhan used a ceremony in which he used his gravity magic to stop the stars. His actions drastically reduced the Outer Gods' ability to interfere in the Lands Between, and Edward needed that ceremony for his plan. Once that was done, Edward's next goal was to get the Fingerslayer Blade in Nokron, the Eternal City.
Nokron was an ancient civilization that eventually rejected the Greater Will and developed a weapon to destroy the Two Fingers, the Greater Will's watchdogs on the planet. Their treachery was discovered, and the Greater Will sent Astel, a malformed star that turned into a creature, to destroy Nokron and the Nox people.
Ranni would then ask him to help him deal with Blaidd once the Two Fingers realized her intention and controlled him. In exchange, Edward would ask her to hire the Black Knife Assassins to infiltrate the Roundtable Hold to kill the primary Two Finger and Enia, thus completely severing all connection the Greater Will had on this world.
With more freedom, Edward would continue his plan. He would head first to Leyndall and kill Morgot, the Omen King, to take his Great Rune. He would then defeat Maliketh — who is Queen Marika's shadow, just like Blaidd — and take the Destined Death Rune. This battle was supposed to be intense because, as long as Maliketh touched Edward's armor once, he would also die.
Edward would then travel underneath the capital to find Godwyn's soul body to recapture the power of death. By combining Ranni's Death Curse and the power from Godwyn's body with the Destined Death Rune, he can finally complete this imperfect rune. Then, the next destination would be the Haligtree to fight Malenia.
Their battle would be significant for various reasons. Once almost defeated, Malenia would release the full power of the Scarlet Rot, becoming a vessel for the Outer Gods. Edward would acquire a lot of knowledge about these creatures during his fight. Additionally, Malenia had been in a state of madness since her return to the Haligtree, and Edward would temporarily wake her up.
He wanted to know about her master, the Blind Swordsman, who successfully sealed the real Rot — the Outer God — in a lake. He needed that sealing method for the other Outer Gods. Lastly, he also wanted to understand Unalloyed Gold created by her brother. The next destination would be Mogh and his dynasty.
Edward would defeat Mohg and take his rune, but would not immediately kill him. This Omen Demigod worshipped an Outer God called the Formless Mother. Edward would have him form a connection with the latter, and maybe even invite her to descend into the world by using Mohg's body as a vessel. Then, using the seal he had learned from the Blind Swordman (and, of course, upgraded it), he would seal the Formless Mother.
Edward's next target would be Miquella, who had possessed the ability of Charm/Mind Control. Miquella had controlled Mohg to capture him while he discarded his body to enter the Lands of Shadow. Miquella also broke his runes. Edward would follow him in the Lands of Shadow to find his broken rune and use his soul to repair it. He also wanted to prevent Miquella from using the Spiral Tower to ascend to Godhood.
With all these Great Runes, the Elden Ring has almost been completed. However, Edward would not be rebuilding the Golden Order, so he needed to do more. In the game's lore, there are three mending runes, which individuals create to fix the Elden Ring. Edward would learn how to create these Mending Runes to ensure he can make his order.
Edward's next goal would be to become a God so he can have complete control over the Elden Ring. However, if he wants to do that, he would first need to become an Empyrean. His plan was to contact the Will of the Planet, the source of the magic he had created, and ask for the title. Then, he would head to the Spiral Tower and, just like Queen Marika did, or what Miquella did, he would ascend to Godhood.
Edward would then track one of the Outer Gods, called the Frenzied Flame, and use a similar plan to Mogh. However, he would instead use his Elden Lord Armor as the vessel for the Frenzied Flame before sealing the Outer Gods.
The next step in the plan was to reach the core of the Erdtree and repair the Elden Ring. But according to lore, no one can enter Erdtree because an unbreakable torn stood in the way. That's when Milena, the woman who killed Edward's Finger Maiden, would come into play. Queen Marika created her for this situation. She would burn herself to burn the torns that were preventing access to the Erdtree.
Edward would fight Queen Marika, who turned into Radagon, before also killing the Elden Beast. At that time, the blacksmith in the Roundtable Hold should have completed the God-Killing Weapon. However, during his battle, the Greater Will intervenes and increases the Elden Beast's strength. It will also send another Astel to eliminate Edward. But with his new God powers, all his Doom Bots, the God-Killing Weapon, and the Fingerslayer Blade, he would be victorious.
With the method he previously learned, Edward would reconstruct the Elden Ring and create the Mother Earth Order. In this order, death exists and is permanent for everyone, including Gods. Once someone dies, their soul goes to another dimension to process their afterlife. There is a creature in the Lands Between called the Tibia Mariners, who resemble the Underworld Ferryman from mythology, and Edward planned to use them as the spirits that would guide people to their afterlife.
Another part of his order would be the spread of his Alchemy Base Magic. No one needs to rely on the Erdtree or the stars for powers. In order to ensure success, Edward would use Radhan's Ceremony and the fact that the Moon is the center of the Stars to block complete access to the Primeval Current. His decision would lead to disagreement with his teacher, Sellen. I haven't decided if they would reconcile.
Edward's final act in the Lands Between is the cleanup. Blocking the stars has limited the power the Outer Gods can use on this world, but that wasn't enough. He would exile or seal all the Outer Gods and remove their influences. The Land Between was an unusual place, where people were born with horns, or jars gained sentience due to an object called the Crucible.
The Crucible is an object that contains the essence of all life: whether flesh, inorganic, or spirit. It's a remnant of when the Greater Will divided the One Great. The item would drastically improve Edward's understanding of the Life Code and even allow him to wield Life Law. Once that was done, he would take it away with him when he leaves the world.
Edward would build an Empire to quell the chaos in the Lands Between. He would also use his study of the Unalloyed Gold to create a method to clear the Scarlet Rot areas when Malenia nuked Caelid. He would rebuild civilization and rule for more than a decade, returning the world to peace.
Then, he would abdicate and have the people vote on the next ruler. Finally, he would leave the world, having completed the perfect mission with more than 1.5 million points. The next chapter will summarize the Samsara Hall Arc.
