Haruki finally caught up with her, slightly out of breath. He looked at the defeated wolves, then at the adventurers, and finally back at her.
She killed all of those monsters all on her own.
"Avery-san..." (Haruki) takes a clean cloth from his bag and starts wiping off the blood from Avery's face, checking her body for any wounds, cuts or bruises. "You really did it. Without a scratch on your body too."
He holds her arm to double check.
"Do you feel any pain?"
Avery tilted her head and checked to see if there's any pain in some part of her body, seeing that she was covered in blood and still had adrenaline it was hard to know. "Um… I think I'm okay- all of the blood doesn't belong to me."
Haruki stared at her.
"That's good, Avery-san."
"Oh!"
She brightened.
"Right! That big one was pretty tough!"
"Pretty tough...?"
