Their leader took out their remaining rations, a few pieces of dried meat and hard bread. "You should take this, for the journey ahead. If you crazy duo would accept our thanks… we don't have much gold right now but after seeing those corpses you'll be richer than the four of us combined that's for sure."
Avery immediately sees the rations that they offered and immediately shaked her head feeling a little shy.
"No, no um… you guys don't have to give us your stuff I mean what will you eat when you go back up?" She asked.
The party leader chuckles, "These are all the extra ones that we could give, don't worry. I won't be giving you these if we don't have enough."
