Chapter 48 - The Glorious Evolution (Edited i by mistake uploded the wrong draft sorry about that)

After waking up, Lucky stretched his limbs and headed straight into the forest where all his clones had been training tirelessly. As he approached, he saw them hundreds of shadow clones, each absorbed in intense focus, either etching glowing words mid-air, meditating in silence, or practicing clone summoning techniques.

The sight made his heart warm. "You guys worked hard," he said genuinely.

In perfect sync, all the clones rolled their eyes.

Smiling, Lucky looked across the clone battalion and made a decision. "Alright. Mana Cultivation clones first."

A wave of envy rippled through the others as those designated for cultivation shimmered and dissipated one by one, transferring their experience back to him.

Lucky flinched slightly at the flood of memories and practice then checked his skill list.

It took around 15 min for all of this

[Magic Cultivation Method] – Max Level!

[Shadow Clone] – Max Level!

He blinked. "That fast?" he whispered.

But instead of reviewing the effects, Lucky just nodded and exhaled. "Later," he muttered. He was too tired to process everything now.

He lay down under a tree, letting the sunlight filter through the branches as he closed his eyes for a few minutes.

About an hour passed.

Then, with a sigh, he sat back up and stood. "Alright, Solid Script next."

He raised his hand and began dissipating the remaining clones. With each one disappearing, more experience flowed into him. The forest slowly emptied as the massive training ground returned to calm.

Finally, he stood alone.

He walked to the center of the field and collapsed onto his back, staring at the blue sky overhead.

"This is it," he said softly. "The moment of truth."

His heart pounded not with fear, but anticipation. For a long time, he'd depended on Lucky Draw. But now, he wanted a solid, reliable magic that was his. One he could refine. One he could master.

Solid Script Magic.

And now it had reached its peak.

He opened his status screen and prepared to view its evolved form.

Mana Consumption: 5250 minimum per clone creation (can be more)

(Each level increases clone count by 20, clone combat power by 0.5%, and reduces mental consumption by 0.5%. Mana consumption increases by 50 per level.)

After seeing all three skills hit max level, Lucky's excitement was undeniable. But then his eyes fell on the mana cost per clone.

"Five thousand two hundred and fifty... per clone?" he muttered.

He glanced at his MP bar, doing the mental math. "With full mana, I can only make three clones..."

His eyebrows twitched.

"Unreasonable..." he muttered.

But then he stood up and cracked his knuckles. "No use complaining. That was the old me. Now let's see what happens when I evolve these."

He first checked the Evolutions choices for the Magic Cultivation Method:

It became like this

Magic Cultivation Method (+) Tier 2

1 Condensed Mana: Mana becomes storonger which lead to stronger magic Effect

(simple you 1 dmg becomes 5 dmg)

2 Abudent Mana: Now every converting you gain 5 times more Mana

(Mana will never become an issue)

3 Universal Core: Transmute All Energy you have into MP into stamina, lifeforce, SP, or elemental energy the ratio varries you can only Transumute all energy you have to other Energy you have or Had

(You've touched it? Now you can replicate it)

After Lucky looked at the upgrade options, he thought for a moment. He dismissed the first option mainly because Lucky Hit was already in his arsenal, and now that he had Mana Theft, boosting raw mana recovery felt unnecessary. But that third option... Universal Core it wasn't just useful, it showed real potential for the future.

A smile stretched across his face. "Yeah... this one."

after choosinng the it Upgrades by not ! tier but 2 it became like this

Tier: 4

—————————————

Skill: Universal Core Cultivation Method

 —————————————

Type: Technique (Passive/Active)

—————————————

Current Recovery Rate: 15,000MP/hour

Conversion Efficiency: 5:1

(Each level increases recovery by 5,000MP/)

(Level: 10 =???

Level: 30 = 2*???

level 50 = 3*???

level 80 = 4*???

level 99 = 5*???)

Evolutions:

1 Auto: it increases your mana capacity if you are out of combat to your mana regeneration it will be ten times slower in converting mana manually

2 Universal Core: Transmute All Energy you have into MP into stamina, lifeforce, SP, or elemental energy the ratio varries you can only Transumute all energy you have to other Energy you have or Had

————————————

Lucky blinked at the numbers.

"Fifteen thousand...?" he muttered in disbelief.

He rubbed his eyes, stared again no change.

Then it dawned on him. "Right. Tier Four…"

Of course.

A smile tugged at his lips as the realization settled in. The skill didn't just evolve in name it became something far more refined. The tier upgrade changed everything.

"It's not just a stronger version... it's a completely different league," Lucky said, voice low with awe.

Now this was a proper foundation.

His MP recovery was three times higher than before without even leveling it once. And the Universal Core feature… that had potential written all over it.

For now, though, he'd celebrate this later.

Lucky let out a breath, stood, and said, "Alright... next Shadow Clone."

Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu (+) Tier 4

1 Double the trouble : Double the amount of clones you get now and in the future

(simple you can now double your clone double the trouble)

2 One more hit: Your clone can survaive one more lethal attack

(Clones get seconend chance)

3 Alpha Clones : your clones now have 80% of user but you can summon up to 500

(you win some, you lose some)

Lucky stared at the options lined before him.

Double... One More Hit... Alpha Clones...

His eyes scanned them again.

"Alpha Clones, huh..." he muttered.

It sounded tempting clones that were almost as strong as him? That could change a battle. But then he shook his head.

"No. That's not what they're for."

Clones at least in Lucky's system weren't meant for combat. Not really.

They were his workhorses (Slaves).

His grind machines.

His infinite XP banks.

So, without hesitation, he completely ignored the third option.

The second choice gave him pause. Being able to survive an extra hit? That would've been useful… if he hadn't already acquired Self Explosion from the Fire Demon.

A grin spread across his face as he imagined a clone popping like a bomb mid-battle, catching enemies off guard.

"I don't want them to survive. I want them to detonate," he chuckled.

And with that, the decision was made.

He selected Double.

"More clones. More work. More growth."

After seeing the Tier not Upgrade Lucky was not suprised after all the skill didn't change in essense after all he just manged to summon more that is all and now the final one which he is hoping to be good

Solid Script Magic – Beginner (+) Tier 2

1 Multi-Word Casting: You can write multiple words at once to give different effects (e.g., writing "fire ball" becomes the word FIRE in the shape of a Ball)

2 Elemental Fusion: You can fuse compatible attributes to gain improved effects (e.g., FIRE + WATER = STEAM)

3 Layered Words: Now you can stack your words for more effect (e.g., casting FIRE three times increases power threefold)

After seeing the evolution, Lucky immediately dismissed the third one.

"Layered Words just stacks power, not utility or speed... I already have Lucky Hit for that."

He narrowed his eyes, thinking hard.

Elemental Fusion and Multi-Word Casting looked similar at first glance, but they were fundamentally different.

Elemental Fusion offered unpredictable power—sometimes good, sometimes not.

But Multi-Word Casting?

That was something else. That was potential. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But in the future?

"I'll take the foundation over the flash," Lucky decided.

And with that, he selected Multi-Word Casting.

Skill: Solid Script Magic – Advanced

Tier: 4

+110% writing speed

+110% effect potency

Example of Advanced

[FIRE That Must Hit]

—————————————————

After seeing all his evolutions, Lucky exhaled deeply, eyes still wide from excitement.

"I could make clones now," he muttered. "I should make clones now."

But he didn't move.

Instead, he tilted his head back toward the sky and shut his eyes for a moment.

"No," he finally said, smiling.

"For now, I'll relax a bit."

His magic had reached a new level. Three of his most used skills had evolved and ascended. His foundation was stronger than ever.

Now it was time to see if Cana had worked up the courage to talk to Makarov.

He dusted himself off, brushed dirt off his robe, and started walking back toward Magnolia.

But halfway there, another idea sparked in his head.

"…Maybe I can go on a mission with the troubled child himself next," he muttered, smirking.

His tone was light, but his eyes were sharp.

"Let's see if I can keep up with the storm."
