Chapter 73 - The Weight of Thousands

AN: This was originally 4.5 chapters, but I condensed it into one. After all, I didn't want you guys to experience cliff hangers or something.

(I can only say, thinking about this evolution and everything has made me use a lot of brain cells.)

SOOO I will not update for either 4 or 5 days, depends on my mental capacity (`∇´)

————————————

The forest was unnaturally still.

Not the silence of peace, but the kind that comes before a storm.

At the center of the clone camp, Lucky sat cross-legged. His eyes opened, burning with conviction.

He spoke clearly, voice cutting through the silence:

"No distractions. For two weeks, I'm not leaving here. Send a clone to the guild so no one worries. The real me stays."

The clones stiffened, shocked.

A ripple of shock passed through the camp.

"Boss, two weeks straight without rest? That's suicide!"

"What about the guild?"

"Two weeks without sleeping, eating, or..."One clone paused, then muttered, "...showering?"

Lucky only grinned, a fierce fire in his gaze.

"No. I must do this. Ten times potential means if I don't act, I'll waste it. I'll become lazy. I refuse. I'll send a clone in my place for the guild. The real me? Stays here. And I won't stop."

The words dropped like thunder.

Reluctantly, one soldier-clone saluted. "Then we'll cover for you. Guild won't know the difference."

Scientist-clones scrambled instantly, dragging out equipment: enchanted measuring rods, mana flow monitors, even chalkboards scrawled with half-legible equations. The camp transformed into a research station within minutes.

One clone muttered, adjusting his cracked glasses, "Observation tools ready. Test logs ready. Beginning Project: Boss's Suicide Attempt."

"Name it properly!" another barked.

"…Fine. Project: Two Weeks of Madness."

Lucky closed his eyes again, ignoring their bickering. His focus tunneled inward, toward the Physical Body Training Technique. The method required him to take one type of energy, Life Force, Mana, SP, anything inside him, and grind it against his body until the flesh broke, healed, and reforged stronger. The catch? It hurt. It hurt more than anything. And unlike other skills, there were no shortcuts. No exp grinding. No tricks. Only raw willpower.

And Lucky had already decided.

If his potential was multiplied tenfold, then every ounce of suffering now would pay back a hundredfold later.

——————————————

Two weeks.

Four hundred and eight hours.

Twenty-four thousand four hundred and eighty minutes.

That was how long Lucky had spent in the forest.

No breaks.

No sleep.

No return to his house, only a single clone sent to fetch food, clothes, and a change of bandages.

He hadn't even visited the guild.

The clones had watched him, day after day, as he sat cross-legged, eyes closed, face pale with pain, sweat dripping like rain. His body trembled. His mana flickered. His SP dipped dangerously low.

But he didn't stop.

Because he knew something the clones didn't.

All Potential x10 wasn't just about strength.

It was about everything.

His mana capacity? 10x.

His endurance? 10x.

His potential to hold more? 10x.

And if he didn't push now, while the fire was burning, he'd get lazy.

He'd rest.

He'd lose.

So he didn't.

At first, it was almost pleasant. The Life Force seeped into his muscles like a warm bath, soothing, refreshing. Lucky relaxed, thinking, 'Maybe this won't be so bad...'

Then the warmth turned into knives.

His veins burned like molten iron had been poured through them. His bones creaked as if they were being carved apart and glued back together. His skin itched, then seared, then went numb.

Lucky's jaw locked. His fingers dug into the dirt. He lasted thirty minutes before collapsing forward, gasping, drenched in sweat.

Scientist clone #12 scribbled furiously on a board."

Day 1: The Subject lasted thirty-one minutes before collapsing. Noted excessive sweating, minor tearing of muscle fibers, and accelerated healing observed within thirty seconds."

Another clone, dressed like a medic, poked Lucky with a stick. "Still alive. Barely."

Lucky wheezed, glaring. "…Don't… poke me."

The pain had been unbearable.

The first 31 minutes were an adaptation.

The next 10 were agony.

But he lasted.

And when his mind rested, he started again.

He trained again.

And again.

Day after day, the cycle repeated. Lucky would sit, activate the technique, scream as Life Force tore through him, then collapse. Each time, he crawled back into position, forcing himself to restart.

By Day 3, he lasted forty-seven minutes.

By Day 5, he hit fifty-six.

By Day 7, he broke the one-hour barrier.

The clones were half-horror, half-amazed.

Soldier clone muttered, "He's insane." Scientist clone corrected, "No. He's evolving."

Lucky, trembling but silent through his pain, whispered, "Both can be true."

The data logs grew longer:

Day 3: Subject's skin recovery rate doubled.

Day 5: Bone density visibly increased. Minor fractures self-repair without aid.

Day 7: Boss regenerating micro-injuries faster than external healing magic.

The soldier clones looked at their leader like he was turning into a monster. The scientist clones looked at him like he was turning into the greatest research subject in history.

Lucky just kept going.

By Week Two

The pain changed.

It was no longer just physical. It burrowed deeper, gnawing at his soul, dragging his very existence across a whetstone.

Lucky felt like his marrow was being liquefied, his organs pulled inside out, his heartbeat syncing not with his chest but with the sun itself.

Day 10: He pushed past ninety minutes

Day 12: He collapsed but rose again, eyes bloodshot, laughing through the agony.

"Boss, stop! You'll kill yourself!"

Lucky spat blood and grinned. "Relax. That means it's working."

The clones couldn't look away. Some shouted encouragement. Some turned their heads, unable to stomach the sight. Others simply wept silently, recording the data with shaking hands.

On the dawn of Day 14, Lucky sat in the dirt, trembling, every nerve screaming.

'No… I won't stop… not until my body gets to it's peak.'

Then it happened.

A surge. Not a step, not a crawl forward, but a leap. His whole body vibrated with vitality. The Life Force condensed into his bones, into his blood, into every strand of muscle. His cells thrummed with energy.

The world tilted. Then a crisp notification chimed before his eyes:

Physical Body Training Technique has reached Lv 25!+1 Energy Slot unlocked. Body tempered Complete (Life Force).

Lucky gasped awake, steam rising from his skin. His body glowed faintly with golden light, like sunlight lived inside his veins. His breathing slowed. His eyes cleared. For the first time, he didn't just feel stronger, he felt alive in a way that no words could describe.

Skill panel shimmered into view:

———————

 4 Self-Life-Force Manipulation

————————————

The clones froze.

One whispered, "Boss… you look like you could be one of the long-lived creatures." Another muttered, "That's not human. That's something else."

Lucky flexed his hand. The strength wasn't just power; it was permanence. "This isn't just stronger… this is faster, harder, I think this skill includes all physical attributes."

The scientist clone pushed up his glasses, trembling. "Two weeks… and he's reforged himself entirely. This is madness. This is brilliance. This is… Amazing."

Lucky stood, chest rising and falling with steady breaths. He turned toward the circle of wide-eyed clones.

"Life Force tempered. Step one is done. Next…" He sat back down, cross-legged, grin widening. "…I'll use the second slot."

"Boss, with double the difficulty, you could kill yourself!" Lucky smirked, eyes closing again as sunlight poured over him.

"Okay... maybe I will use it later. But now you guys know what time it is?"

————————————————————————

The camp was tense.

Lucky sat in the middle again, but this time his body felt… different. Stronger. Radiant. Alive. The Life Force within him pulsed steadily and calmly, like a second heartbeat. Two weeks of agony had given him something priceless: a body reforged.

But the clones knew this was only the beginning.

"Alright," Lucky muttered, looking around the circle of identical faces. "Time to bring you guys back."

The air went still. Every clone stiffened.

They knew what was coming.

Not a mass dissipation.

Not a suicidal memory flood.

A cycle.

Then, it dissipated.

A wave of memories crashed into Lucky's training data, battle instincts, and tactical analysis. His mind expanded, but it didn't break.

He called out one of the clones.

It dissipated.

Another wave.

Another creation.

Again.

And again.

The clones watched in silence.

Each time one vanished, it appeared again right after with joy on their faces.

The scientist-clone stepped forward. "Boss... it worked, we won't lose our memory, boss.

Lucky nodded with relief.

After all clones have dissipated, Lucky felt just after the flood of memory, and now his mana Quilty is 5, which means he now has 250,000 mana, while he only had 50,000.

Feeling the improvement, Lucky smiled, then he looked at his skill panel, then he was shocked.

Name: Lucky

HP: 100%

Stamina: 100%

SP (Soul Power): 62,500 / 62,500

MP: 10,245 / 50,003 (☆☆☆☆☆)

Luck: ??? + 10.05

Attack Potency: Large Building — ???? (8-c — ???? )

Strength: Class 5

Agility: Subsonic

Perception: Subsonic perception

Endurance: Superhuman

Intelligence: Genius

Looking at this and telling the clone almost as if they had rehearsed.

"Damn!!"

Lucky nodded with a proud smile. "Good. Now skill evolution begins."

————————————————————————

The first major upgrade hit.

Tier: 4

 —————————————

Evolution: Universal Core Cultivation Method+

1 Overclock: Burn 1% of your Mana per 10 seconds to double your Magic power (Temporary increase in quality)

2 Abundant Mana: Now, every conversion you gain 5 times more Mana

(Mana will never become an issue)

3 Astral Reservoir: Passive Mana Compression: Stores 5x max MP as "Astral Mana" (used only for spells, Astral Mana decays if unused (10%/hour)).

—————————————

The clones erupted into chaos.

"Overclock?! That's madness!" one shouted. "You'd be doubling power but burning mana constantly. One wrong calculation, and your Universal Core could… poof!"

"Abundant Mana is tempting, but our issue wasn't mana to begin with!" another added. "Indeed this there is no need for that!"

Lucky's eyes flicked to Astral Reservoir, scanning the benefits.

The strategist-clone hesitated. "5x the storage… the downside is the decay, but with your Astral Core? That's negligible. You could literally stockpile enough mana to last weeks, maybe months, without resting."

Lucky grinned faintly as his chest glowed. "Then it's obvious."

Silence fell. Even the scientist-clone paused, impressed.

"BOSS! THAT'S INFINITE STORAGE! If the skill kept upgrading," the strategist finally yelled. "We'll literally never run dry again. Endless battles, endless practice… insane!"

Lucky's mana shimmered like a second sun. The clones stared, mouths agape, as Lucky picked Astral Reservoir, checking the stats.

Tier: 5

—————————————

Skill: Universal Astral Core Cultivation Method

 —————————————

Type: Technique (Passive/Active)

—————————————

Level: 1 / 99

 —————————————

Description: Allows the user to recover 1,000 (☆☆☆☆☆) MP per hour from atmospheric magic and accelerates the growth of maximum mana over time by a unique method. The core can now store different mana, which is Astral mana.

(Each level increases Astral Mana capacity by 3%)

(Each level decreases the rate of Astral Mana loss by 1 minute)

Evolutions:

1 Auto: it increases your mana capacity if you are out of combat, to your mana regeneration will be ten times slower in converting mana manually

2 Universal Core: Transmute all Energy you have into MP into stamina, lifeforce, SP, or elemental energy. The ratio varies. You can only transmute all the energy you have to other Energy you have or Had

3 Astral Reservoir: Passive Mana Compression: Stores 5x max MP as "Astral Mana" (used only for spells, Astral Mana decays if unused (10%/hour)).

 —————————————

Now onto the next upgrade

Without hesitation, Lucky picked his main magic

Skill: Solid Script Magic – Advanced

Tier: 4

Type: Magic Skill (Active)

Level: 99 / 99

+1,100% writing speed

+1,100% effect potency

Word count: 21

Description: Grants the user the ability to cast intermediate Solid Script Magic. The magic power varies depending on the amount of mana spent. Allows the new creation of words such as light, oil, lighting, wall, and more.

+10% writing speed per level

+10% effect potency per level

+1 word per 5 levels

Evolutions:

1 Multi-Word Casting: You can write multiple words at once to give different effects (e.g., writing "fireball" becomes the word FIRE in the shape of a Ball)

Evolution: Solid Script Magic – Advanced

1 Instant Scripting: Thought-Activated Writing: Cast spells mentally (no hand motions required, but if spoken, half mana will be saved)

2 Abstract Words: Words now manifest real phenomena (e.g., "[LIGHTNING]" = actual lightning bolt)

3 Tactical Scripts: Pre-write combat protocols (e.g., "[IF ENEMY NEAR earth spike imaple]")

Lucky leaned forward, studying the options.

The scientist-clone adjusted his glasses. "Instant Scripting… mental activation saves mana, but it's risky if your thoughts scatter. One lapse and you could miscast. But you can also say it as a word, which should make it easier."

"Abstract Words," another said, voice trembling with excitement, "sounds powerful! But if you miswrite something… accidents happen instantly."

"And Tactical Scripts," the strategist added, "great for strategy, but it requires foresight and prep. You lose adaptability."

Lucky really wanted to say, "Only Children make choices, Adults want it all," but unfortunately, it is not possible.

Lucky weighed it quickly. "Instant Scripting. Speed and flexibility are everything."

Looking at the changed skill

Skill: Instant Scripting

Tier: 5

Type: Magic Skill (Active)

Level: 1 / 99

+2,010% Thought/Talk speed

+2,010% effect potency

Word count: 31

Description: Grants the user the ability to cast his thoughts as script magic, either using words or Thoughts. The magic power varies depending on the amount of mana spent. Allows the new creation of words such as heal, jump, and more.

+10% writing speed per level

+10% effect potency per level

+1 word per 1 level

Evolutions:

1 Multi-Word Casting: You can write multiple words at once to give different effects (e.g., writing "fireball" becomes the word FIRE in the shape of a Ball)

2 Instant Scripting: Thought-Activated Writing: Cast spells mentally (no hand motions required, but half mana if you speak )

He tested it:

Thought: "FIRE." A tiny flame curled in his palm.

Spoke: "FIRE." A roaring inferno erupted, consuming half the clearing.

Wrote: "FIRE." A controlled blaze danced above his hand, efficient, lethal, precise.

The clones' jaws dropped. "He… he's casting spells with his brain!"

The scientist-clone stammered, "Mana is stable, cost is halved mentally… but… you'd better not get distracted."

Lucky smirked. "I'm not just a mage anymore. I'm a magical gunslinger."

"Now it is time to upgrade you guys." Lucky looked at his clones with a smile.

"Let's goooo," the clones cheered

Lucky quickly went to evolve it

————————————

Skill: Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu

 ——————————————

Tier: 4

——————————————

Type: Technique (Active)

 ——————————————

Level: 99 / 99

——————————————

Description: A high-level ninjutsu that creates multiple solid clones made from the user's chakra. These clones can fight, move, and interact with the environment independently, mimicking the user's techniques and movements. After the duration ends, if the clone doesn't consume energy, it will be returned to the user.

Current Clone Count: 9,000 Clones

Combat Power: 45% of User

Mental Consumption Reduction: 45%

Clone Durability: Standard

Mana Consumption: 5250 minimum per clone creation (can be more)

(Each level increases clone count by 50)

Evolutions:

1:Double the trouble: Double the amount of clones you get now and in the future

——————————————

Evolution: Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu

1 Legion of One: if double wasn't enough, make it 10X the amount ( lots of clones)

2 Physical feedback: gain 0.1% of clones physical feedback (if a 1000 clone does one push up, it is like you have done 1 push up)

3 Extreme link: Clones and hosts can now share experience within different worlds (the experience could be delayed)

Lucky scanned the options.

The clones panicked.

"Legion of One?" one shouted. "Nine thousand clones × 10?! That could change everything, boss, pick this one!"

"Extreme Link…" another warned. "Sharing experiences across worlds? Boss, this clearly is the better option! Cross-world experience… means we don't need to trouble your boss."

They all kept talking, completely ignoring option 2. Some even went behind Lucky massaging him with care.

Lucky's grin widened. "Soooo, I will not be the only one?"

The clones panicked, but without a second thought, Lucky picked option 2

Within moments, a dozen clones fell to their knees and with tears. Lucky smiled after all, he didn't forget when all of them made fun of him.

Clones roared. "WHY DID I PICK THIS?!"

Lucky smiled. "Misery loves company!"

ignoring the wailing clones, he looked at the new skill:

————————————

Skill: Multi Shadow Training Clone Jutsu

 ——————————————

Tier: 5

——————————————

Type: Technique (Active)

 ——————————————

Level: 1 / 99

——————————————

Description: A mutated high-level ninjutsu that creates multiple solid clones made from the user's chakra that can do physical Training that affects the main body. These clones can fight, move, and interact with the environment independently, mimicking the user's techniques and movements. After the duration ends, if the clone doesn't consume energy, it will be returned to the user.

Current Clone Count: 10,100 Clones

Combat Power: 50% of User

Mental Consumption Reduction: 45%

Clone Durability: Standard

Mana Consumption: 5250 minimum per clone creation (can be more)

Physical feedback: 0.11%

(Each level increases clone count by 100)

(Each level increases Physical feedback by 0.01%)

Evolutions:

1: Double the trouble: Double the amount of clones you get now and in the future

2: Physical feedback: gain 0.1% of clones physical feedback (if a 1000 clone does one push up, it is like you have done 1 push up)

——————————————

Now it was time for the support-type skill. Lucky first went with the Reparo charm.

Tier: 2

—————

Skil: Reparo Charm

—————

Type: Spell (Active)

—————

Level: 99 / 99

—————

Description: Repairs broken non-magical objects by reassembling their structure. Effectiveness improves with skill level.

—————

Current Repair Capacity:

Maximum range Size: 50m³

Material Complexity: 5/10 (can fix clocks but not supercomputers)

Consumption depends on the object's complexity and area

49.5% less MP

(Each level increases max size by 0.5m³ and reduces consumption by 0.5%)

Evolution Reparo Charm

1 Mender's Touch: Effect: Efficiency and Scale. The spell becomes far more mana-efficient and can handle larger projects, making it a true workhorse skill

2 Restore Integrity: Effect: True Restoration. The spell doesn't just reassemble, it slightly rewinds the object's time, restoring it to a near-pristine state without weak points (Repaired objects regain 95% of their original structural integrity and appearance, Max size becomes 10 m, Huge mana consumption)

3 Arcane Welding: Bridge the Magical Gap. The charm can now affect low-tier magical items, though it cannot restore their depleted magical energy.

The clones argued fiercely.

"Mender's Touch! You could restore massive structures!" one clamored.

"Restore Integrity guarantees near-perfection," another said.

"Arcane Welding is more niche, but you could fix hundreds of items, weapons, tools… practically instantaneously," the strategist-clone noted.

Lucky smirked, letting the chaos run. "Arcane Welding it is."

Tier: 3

—————

Skil: Arcane Reparo Charm

—————

Type: Spell (Active)

—————

Level: 1 / 99

—————

Description: Repairs broken low magical objects by reassembling their structure. Effectiveness improves with skill level.

—————

Current Repair Capacity:

Maximum range Size: 50m³

Material Complexity: 7/10 (can low less complex magic items)

Consumption depends on the object's complexity and area

49.5% less MP

(Each level increases max size by 0.5m³ )

——————

Evolutions:

1: Arcane Welding: Bridge the Magical Gap. The charm can now affect low-tier magical items, though it cannot restore their depleted magical energy.

———————————————

Lucky decided to test it. He got out A broken wand and a cracked sword glowed under his hands. "Reparo." Cracks sealed, magical resonance pulsed through the air.

The scientist-clone scribbled notes frantically. "Boss… low-tier items fixed instantly… this… this could destabilize entire markets."

————————————

Tier: 4

—————————————

Skill: Spatial Pocket

 —————————————

Type: Skill (Passive/Active)

—————————————

Level: 1 / 99

 —————————————

Description: By consuming mana, it allows the user to permanently create a personal Space to store non-living Objects.

Current space size: 10 m³

Conversion Efficiency: 10000:1 m³

Current Limit: 20 m³

(Each level increases the current limit by 10 m³)

(Each level increase the Conversion Efficiency by 1%)

————————————

Evolution: Spatial Pocket

1 Pocket Architect: Efficiency and Control. Drastically reduces the mana cost of expansion and allows the user to mentally organize the space ( The user can instantly locate any stored item without rummaging)

2 Time zone Pocket: Temporal Control. The user can now define zones within the pocket. In one zone, time remains frozen (perfect for food). In another time, time flows 1,000 times slower (Can create up to 3 time-flow zones. Each time change requires a Huge amount of mana)

3 Living Gate: Bend the Rules. The pocket can now store simple, non-sentient life forms (e.g., plants, seeds, insects, eggs) by placing them in a state of suspended animation. (The pocket now passively drains 1% of his total MP per hour to maintain the biological equilibrium)

————————————

The clones huddled, whispering fiercely.

"Pocket Architect is boring," one muttered. "Sure, it saves mana, but it only works on stuff. No living things… we want a new effect, not organization!"

"Yeah, but think about Time zone Pocket," another countered. "Freeze time inside? Slow it down? That's insane for training or combat! But that is only if we can enter it… maintaining it… That's gotta be expensive, right?"

"Exactly!" a third interrupted. "One mistake and Boss could… I don't even wanna think about it! Temporal feedback? Time headaches? He could age weirdly!"

A quieter clone piped up: "Living Gate, though… plants, eggs, small animals… low cost… and it's practical. Long-term survival. Portable food source… yeah, it drains 1% MP/hour, but with Astral Mana? He'd barely notice."

"Yeah, but it's limited to simple creatures. What if he wants more?" another fretted. "Overcrowding could destabilize the space inside the pocket…"

"True," the first clone conceded, "but realistically, this one keeps him safe AND future-proofed. I mean, we're not fighting bosses every second. Sustainable utility > flashy combat tricks."

Lucky listened quietly, smirking at their chaos. He chose Living Gate, and the clones groaned in reluctant agreement.

————————————

Tier: 5

—————————————

Skill: Spatial Pocket

 —————————————

Type: Skill (Passive/Active)

—————————————

Level: 1 / 99

 —————————————

Description: By consuming mana, it allows the user to permanently create a personal Space to store non-living Objects. While maintaining continuous mana drain, the pocket can now store simple, non-sentient life organisms.

Current space size: 1,000 m³

Conversion Efficiency: 10,000:1 m³

Current Limit: 2,100 m³

Decrease the MP for the living gate by 0.5%

(Each level increases the current limit by 100 m³)

(Each level increase the Conversion Efficiency by 1%)

(Each level decreases the Mana consumption for the living gate by 0.5%)

————————————

Evolutions:

1 Living Gate: Bend the Rules. The pocket can now store simple, non-sentient life forms (e.g., plants, seeds, insects, eggs) by placing them in a state of suspended animation. (The pocket now passively drains 1% of his total MP per hour to maintain the biological equilibrium)

————————————

Now to the last skill to upgrade, which, from the clones' Memory, was one of the most useful when the zombies were doing sneak attacks.

—————————————

Tier: 3

—————————————

Skill: Mana Perception

—————————————

World: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

 —————————————

Type: Skill (Passive/Active)

—————————————

Level: 1 / 99

 —————————————

Description: It allows the user to use Mana as an extra sense to perceive the surrounding mana and see a full 360 degrees around them, without leaving a single blind spot. Allowing the user to see and hear their surroundings

Detection size is: max Mana/100 meters (500)

Mana: (Detection size) * per min

SP: (Detection size) * (per second/10)

 —————————————

Current detection size: 1 Km

Mental Consumption Reduction: 0%

(Each level reduces mental consumption by 0.5% )

(Each level reduces the mana consumption by 0.5%)

————————————

Note: continuous use of the ability, even for a short activation, can cause a normal Human brain to fry due to the never-ending flow of data overloading it

————————————

Evolution

1 Focused Lens: Precision over Breadth. The user can now drastically narrow the perception field to a single, pinpoint cone (1-5 degrees) at extreme range without increasing cost. (Beware Tunnel Vision. While focused, the user's general awareness is reduced to nearly zero.)

2 Automated Threat Sense: Subconscious Processing. The skill gains a passive component. It runs at a low level in the background, just enough to flag immediate, lethal threats without conscious effort. (Automatically pings the user's consciousness for sudden fluctuations around them)

3 Mana Echo Location: Active Pulse. Instead of a constant drain, the user can now emit a short, powerful pulse of mana that echoes back, creating a perfect "snapshot" of the area. It's cheaper than sustained use and provides crystal-clear data for a single moment. (A single pulse costs 50% less mana than 10 seconds of sustained use and provides a detailed, 3D map of the entire area within range)

The clones erupted into a heated debate.

"Focused Lens is clean," one said. "Pinpoint precision… The boss could hit tiny targets from a mile away!"

"But he'd need full focus! Multi-tasking? Forget it," another shot back. "And in chaos, that's useless."

"Automated Threat Sense, now that's insane!" a strategist-clone argued. "He'd sense threats before thinking. 360°, obstacles, even invisible attacks…"

"Yeah, but too much info at once!" a panicked clone interrupted. "He could get overloaded, confused… maybe freeze in panic!"

"Mana Echo is safe," said a cautious one. "Maps the surroundings, snapshots, low risk…"

"Snapshots are garbage in combat!" another yelled. "By the time he reacts, it's too late!"

Lucky smirked. "Automated Threat Sense," he said simply.

Rocks, spells, and surprise attacks flew. Lucky rolled, ducked, and somersaulted instinctively, his body moving before his mind caught up. Even if the skill wasn't warning him now, he is different in his small body; he can pin down 10 Grown men in the peak of their power.

The clones gawked, some fainting, some cheering, some throwing their hands in the air."Spider-sense… but magical!" Lucky laughed.

Looking at the skill description, Lucky was happy because the skill stayed in the same tier, which means easier to evolve

When the storm of notifications ended, Lucky collapsed backward, staring at the sky. His body hummed with new power. His mind brimmed with infinite clarity.

And for the first time, he realized something terrifying.

He wasn't just lucky anymore.

He was walking into a path for something else.

Lucky smirked. "…I think I just broke the rules again."
