Psi sat at the tavern with a mug of ale in his hand, and he had a distant look on his face.
A beautiful Logininian woman with silk hair and eyes like glass. Her slender hands ran along Psi's forearm, training up his biceps, and finishing by running her nails on his pectoral muscles. "Hello my love, why not just invite me to drink with you, instead of leaving me at home?" The woman spoke flirtatiously in Psi's ear. Psi turned to face her and pulled her into his lap. "Hello my love. I just wanted a quick drink before I came home." The woman Psi addressed was his betrothed. She was a Lord's daughter that caught Psi's fancy when he went to become a Fledgling. Her name was Jen, and she was twenty-two years of age. Psi kissed her soft lips, and ordered her a drink. "I got lost in thought, and that's what kept me here. I was thinking about how Lore is doing. I heard he received his assignment, and is serving right now. I hope I get to see that lug soon." Psi sighed sorrowfully as he spoke. Jen grabbed his face and planted a kiss his face. "I'm sure he is fine. You said he's in Adobis right? Lord Koba is friends with my father, so I'll put in a word with my father and make sure he's taken care of." Jen spoke softly and soothingly. Psi looked up at her and said "He doesn't need a comfy life provided to him, but a real foundation. Just ask that Lord Koba take Lore seriously".
