He never expected this outcome to happen; however, he was pretty nonchalant about it.
All he wanted was to obtain the unique class, not the drama it had.

The voice, which was nowhere to be found, called out to Daniel.
"I guess so,"
Daniel shrugged off his shoulders as he replied to the voice.
But at the same time, he did agree with its words.
When the future became dire and hopeless, betrayal was as common as dirt in the ground since everyone wanted to survive, and it was common for comrades to be backstabbed in unexpected moments.
Thus, he could relate to what the sovereign was talking about.
"Don't be alarmed; I'm here not to harm you but to pass on my legacy," the Sovereign explained.
"...." Daniel remained silent, but inside his heart, he was excited.
After all, one of the most broken classes was about to fall into his hands.

Classes can be upgraded from Common to Unique in advancement.
Advancement is similar to evolution and has three stages.
Normal, which is the current stage, Advance, which is the 2nd Stage, and eventually, Superior, which is the final stage before Evolving, a process that takes a Common class to a Rare class, and so on.
"Finally, after decades, someone has claimed my legacy. My soul can finally rest in peace."

Its last remaining speck of life has finally left the world that has been caging its soul for who knows how long.
