[: 3rd POV :]
"Tess, any reports about the Entity so far? And what exactly did it say?"
Leila inquired, and in an instant, a holographic screen materialised from his watch for all of them to see.
"Honestly, the reports have been analysed and compiled from all available intel. All I can say is… this is bad news."
Tess furrowed his brow with a concerned look, which did not escape the notice of Leila and the branch leaders.
The holographic screen displayed an image of the Divine Being, while Tess explained its identity.
"Sigh… I don't know if I should say this, but everything that's been theorised and explained so far turns out to be true."
"The reality known as Modern Fantasia is no longer just a fictional tale. Dreams and myths are real… and it is a world unlike anything we've known."
"As of now, a few of our members and intel operatives have explored this world, and their findings were… astonishing."
"Apparently, Modern Fantasia is a real, living world… and the powers obtained there can be brought back to ours."
"We are witnessing a new type of science and technology that humanity has never seen before!"
Tess exclaimed with enthusiasm.
"The limits that humankind has been confined to are about to undergo an evolutionary leap like never before!"
"Without a doubt, the world will experience a transformation so great that it could either destroy humanity… or elevate it."
"Of course, that's not the only point I'm trying to make."
"Upon accepting a tutorial…"
An hour later
"Well, that's about it from the intel"
"My only words are this"
"We are entering a new era—one of unimaginable possibilities—and a chance to strive for a better future for our organisation."
"Guns? Nuclear weapons? Machines? What are they compared to the heaven-defying powers available in Modern Fantasia?"
"This isn't just change—it's evolution, and the entire world will be shaken!"
"Well, it's already happening. Reports are flooding in from multiple countries about a surge in crimes following yesterday's public appearance on screens," Tess continued, his excitement barely contained.
The technology and powers contained in this world only fueled Tess's curiosity and ambition—he could hardly wait to enter.
"Ho? Does that mean I could find a suitable power or class to upgrade my Martial Art, Transcendence?"
"This sounds fascinating… I'm tempted to enter. How exactly do you enter again? By saying 'Log in to Modern F—'"
Before Lye could finish, Tess interrupted.
"I suggest you don't finish that sentence, Lye… at least not without proper preparation."
Tess adjusted his specs comfortably.
"There have been reports of people disappearing simply for saying those words, even if mixed into a longer sentence. As long as the keyword is present—intentionally or not—you will be teleported into the world."
"I never thought that in this old life of mine, I would be given the chance to regain my youth," Old Jack commented, smiling with hope.
"I wonder what hidden mysteries lie within that world?"
"It truly sounds amazing. Looking at this now, I wouldn't doubt Tess's claim about the massive changes humanity is about to face."
"No, this isn't just a change… It's skipping thousands of evolutionary steps. Who knows what powers obtained could even pass down generations?"
"In other words… what would happen if two individuals of opposite genders, both possessing these powers, were to mate?"
Aeria suggested with curiosity.
"That curiosity of yours is worth exploring… but aside from that…"
"Even with all this, how can we ensure that our organisation maintains order?"
"There will be those cocky enough to believe they can overwhelm us," Marco pointed out, making everyone—including Leila—pause in thought.
"Powers and achieving the impossible are impressive, but the same cannot be said for those with ambitious or tyrannical goals," Tess continued.
"Undoubtedly, in the future, tyrants will rise and rule lands, even entire countries. The only way we can secure our way of life is by exploring this world."
"The remaining question is… when will the Leader?"
Fara looked to Leila expectantly, as did the others.
To their surprise, Leila left without a word, leaving everyone stunned.
"Leader…?"
They all reached out simultaneously, but only the sound of the door closing responded. Her back was the last thing they saw.
Even Tess, often called a genius, could not find a logical reason for her departure. He could come up with one or two possibilities, but none made sense.
'What truly happened between her and her son? This is strange… I thought he had accepted her. Shouldn't she be overjoyed?' Tess pondered, shaking his head in doubt.
Meanwhile, Leila walked through the corridors toward a certain room, her emotions in turmoil. She recalled a day when she and Daniel were inside the car.
"Mom… I have something to tell you," Daniel said nervously.
"What is it, son?" she asked with warm eyes.
"Actually… I've come back from the future."
Daniel decided to reveal the truth. Twisting it might come back to bite him later. He preferred honesty, even if the result wasn't what he expected.
"I don't know how to explain it, and none of this may make sense… but I truly have come from the future."
"The point of telling you is… something horrifying will happen there."
"I didn't want to hide it. I don't want the same regrets again. If we do nothing, the future I came from will repeat itself!"
