Chapter 28 - Time to hunt

In a mesmerising display, the monsters caught within the radius of Daniel's miniature orb met a swift and decisive demise.

Their forms disintegrate and fade away as if they were never there.

[: Congratulations! You have decimated hundreds of monstrous foes, propelling your level to an impressive 171. Your efforts have also granted you 50 valuable Stat Points :]

It was essential to note that the creatures dwelling within this perilous zone were anything but average.

These were beings of extraordinary might, capable of effortlessly erasing players exceeding level 100.

Yet, they were powerless against the onslaught of a seemingly unassuming orb.

It just shows how well these forces worked together.

Despite the anguished cries and resonating roars that echoed through the battlefield, Daniel's heart remained cold, untouched by pity or empathy.

His emotions were dominated by an unrelenting animosity towards these monsters.

To him, monsters were a symbol of never-ending evil, bringing only destruction wherever they went.

They caused so much harm that even the Demons, known for their own cruelty, hated them too.

But besides his special abilities, he was eager to try out the new class he got from the Tower.

And it's perfect to try in this land.

The simplicity of this land is that the deeper you go, the more powerful monsters will be discovered, and it's quite mindblowing how its entrance contained Level 100 Monsters.

With each footstep he takes, he ventures deeper into the forest where the land becomes more estranged than the eerie entrance.

It's a land where everything seemed weird and otherworldly, which fits into the category of Fantasy.

As far as Daniel remembered, he was awed by the massive power the original owner of Final Desolation, the Desolation Sovereign, possessed.

In fact, this class shouldn't exist at all since it definitely has the potential to destroy Earth itself.

After all, Sovereign's Main abilities lie in the power of 'Absolute End'

Of course, within the vast land of Modern Fantasia, there are bound to be abilities that lie in the hands of world-shattering power.

But without a doubt, the Desolation Sovereign is the number 1 factor in the category of overpowered.

It literally broke every threshold and limit of what power should have.

For example, there are other classes beneath, like necromancy.

However, it has its own downside, which is the absurd Mana consumption, which is why nobody, unless in any circumstances or advantage, would choose Necromancing.

On the other hand, it still depends on each person's creativity whether a mere necromancy class could rival those above.

For some information, the only necromancy or undead class that rivals the potential of Dark Sovereign would be the King of Undead and the supremacy over Dark Spells.

With such existence of Class, Daniel thought of obtaining it one day.

However, this idea can't be brought to reality since he doesn't have a clue about its location.

But what he did know was the identity of the owner.

'In the meantime, I won't search for him yet since it'll be 3 years later when he is found'

'But for now, I'll focus on mastering the abilities of my class and bringing them forward to the 2nd advancement stage'

Now, what makes 'Final Desolation' terrifying is the ability to bring an end even to those who are dead.

Stopping his tracks amid the forest, Daniel tried to sense the monsters hidden within the surroundings in the hope of a monster that caught his eye.

After gaining the abilities he wanted, he believed it was time to sharpen his senses to hone the survival skills he was dependent on once.

All he needs to do is create a barrier of Mana, whereupon coming into contact with a living being, he'll be notified of their location. It's similar to a Map deep inside his mind.

But this method has a weakness where any living being who comes across this barrier will be notified of Daniel's presence.

It's a double-edged sword, only to be used towards enemies who are weaker than you.

Or else, it'll be asking for trouble from a troublesome foe.

At first, his attempts were failures since it had been a long time since he last used it.

Hence, it few minutes before he eventually created a barrier by using the knowledge of Nen and spreading it out to the surroundings.

The bigger the expansion, the more the consumption MP will be.

Within a few seconds, the coordinates detected some life force within the surroundings.

Without wasting any more time, he sprinted while leaving behind a heavy dent of footsteps.

With his maddening number of stats, his sheer prowess is enough to lift a truck with one finger.

And his speed could outrun the fastest car on Earth.

Eventually, he encountered a monster.

A monster that was known as 'Caxaer,' named for the elemental powers held within each of their two heads.

These creatures boasted sleek black fur and stood as colossal as elephants, their foreheads adorned with imposing horns that gleamed with a dangerous glow.

Renowned for their ability to harness various elements, these two-headed monstrosities held dominion over their surroundings, capable of overpowering players at equivalent levels.

Daniel's intuition and acute senses hinted that the Caxaer before him was at least level 200 or beyond, which was incredibly high, but he was not afraid.
