Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Lesson

All sorts of delicacies were about to fill up that simple table.

She leisurely continued to chew on the food in her mouth, completely unaffected by the others.

Before long, the tableful of food visibly diminished at a rapid pace.

This girl is quite the foodie!

The boastful guy pretentiously tidied his hair.

Well, since I can't ever touch Mia Redgrave, it should be fine if I make a move on this beauty, right?

With this thought, he swaggered toward Seraphina Redgrave, trying to show off.

"Yo, beauty, you can't finish it, can you? Call me 'brother,' and I'll help you out."

Seraphina Redgrave was shocked—where did this fool come from? Here to mooch off food and drinks?

"I don't need your help, get lost."

The atmosphere became awkward instantly, and the group of hooligans couldn't help but laugh softly.

Ronan Yates wasn't angry; he brazenly reached out his arm to grope Seraphina Redgrave's waist. "Don't be ungrateful, my attention is a blessing for you."

...

Seraphina Redgrave glared at his "dirty hand" on her waist, almost laughing out of anger.

Ronan Yates assumed she was scared when she put down the food, thinking he had a chance.

He was about to sneak a kiss on her innocent face, but the next second, he received a fierce kick.

Seraphina Redgrave grabbed his restless hand, applied a bit of pressure, making him cry out in pain.

Then, with an expressionless face, she took the skewer she had just put down and stabbed it into his hand with force.

Sorry, but if anyone wants to bully her, no chance.

"What the hell, you..."

Ronan Yates couldn't say a complete sentence in pain; he realized he'd hit a wall today!

He never imagined that this seemingly demure girl could be so ruthless and vicious.

"Let him go!" The group of cronies realized what was happening and slowly reacted.

"Get lost, don't make me say it a second time."

Seraphina Redgrave took a deep breath, but her grip didn't loosen in the slightest.

The bamboo skewer lodged in Ronan Yates's palm was inching deeper and deeper, and he was about to pass out from the pain.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Beautiful, I beg you, just treat me like a fart and let me go?"

Ronan Yates stared at her hand, terrified she might push further.

"Tell me, why should I let you go?"

Seraphina Redgrave looked calm, her coldness enough to send chills down anyone's spine.

"I deserve this; I was blind to your greatness and accidentally offended you."

"If your eyes are useless, either get them checked at a hospital or donate them!"

Seraphina Redgrave was never one to repay grievances with virtue; she believed in "do not offend me and I won't offend you; if people offend me, I'll end them."

Thinking of this, she pressed down a bit more, seemingly unintentionally.

"Help! Help!"

Damn it! Is she a devil? Why insist on treating him this way!

"I hear you're quite skilled at making fake documents?" Seraphina Redgrave casually mentioned.

"Uh, that's kind of true."

Ronan Yates was almost breaking down, where did this righteous girl come from!? Could she be planning to bust his entire operation?

Seraphina Redgrave pondered for a moment, "Then could you please make me a valid ID?"

Though she used the word "please," her tone left no room for negotiation.

"What? You really want me to make a fake ID? Why would I have to do such a thing… Fine, fine, please stop, I'll do it, okay?"

"Female, 20 years old, birthday June 24. Other details you handle."

Seraphina Redgrave picked up a chicken nugget with her other hand, calmly tossing it into her mouth and swallowing.

Ronan Yates was about to faint from the pain, "Gentle, gentle, it hurts too much! What name do you want?"

Name.

Seraphina Redgrave silently stared at the food in front of her, letting out a long sigh before reluctantly speaking.

"Sylvia Shaw."
