It happened, it really fucking happened. We nailed the slice with the grand prize on the first try; it was as if all our hard work had finally paid off. We couldn't sit still out of sheer joy. Jumping up and down, we were bouncing all over the place like rubber balls.
"Please follow me!"
We partied until we heard that ice-cold voice; we only managed to calm down when the guy standing in front of the three brutes dressed in black suits called out.
"What's the deal!"
It didn't look like anything good was going to come of this; Sukrucuk, realizing this, stepped up to the front, and Toro and I fell in right beside him.
"The boss wants to see you!"
The brute pointed at the corridor stretching behind the wheel with his hand and started walking; we trailed after him without kicking up a fuss. I started moving forward, telling myself that anyone wearing sunglasses indoors definitely has something wrong with their eyes or somewhere else in their head.
