The merchant welcomed us in the exact same spot and with the exact same tone of voice; there really is a huge difference between Hunters Town and the Starting Village.
"We want to buy a large amount of potions!"
If the situation has dragged you to a point, you have to do what's necessary; we're gonna have to open the purse strings now.
"How large of a purchase are you considering?"
"We will buy a total of 60,000 gold's worth of potions."
The moment the words left my mouth, the female clerk's face went blank for a second. She wasn't the only one surprised; Elenora, the new member of our party, started coughing too.
"Is there any chance we can get a discount?"
Apparently, what I did was quite a bold move; since I had the opportunity, what could it hurt if I snagged a few extra potions.
